"My trip to La Clochette came from the Too Good To Go app. If you have not heard of the Too Good To Go app, check it out. It has exposed me to a bunch of bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores all around San Diego, and there are opportunities across the country. On my arrival, plenty of parking was available. When I walked in, there were about 10 people enjoying coffee and pastries. I walked up to the counter and identified myself as a Too Good To Go customer. I swiped the app on my phone, showed it to the clerk, and she handed me my bag of goodies. Wow! 4 unique pastry items. None were too sweet, the almonds on 2 of the items were just enough to highlight, not overwhelming. I tried 2 with coffee. They were toasty outside, very lightly glazed, and just enough chew inside to dunk in the cup with no drip lifting them out. The third, soft with warm spices and a little syrup or melted brown sugar worked perfectly with bergamot tea, fantastic! Pastry #4, soft, with almonds and brown sugar paired well with green tea. All of this fantastic pastry was $5.99. I will be returning to La Clochette again. You can taste and feel the love used to make these incredible baked goods."
