"Good croissants! I was walking around the neighborhood when I saw a line out their door. I waited and wasn't disappointed. They sell pastries, coffee, matching, and tea. They focus on the coffee, expressos get the choice to have sparkling water (nice touch). Good seating and a sidewalk patio. I would go back, but doubt I will wait if the line is out the door."

Little While clearly put a lot of thought into every element, from the meticulously sourced beans to the creative drink pairings that blend coffee culture with a hint of cocktail artistry. Not to mention the aesthetics think the best of Japan, Mexico City, Portugal and Scandinavia all in one shop in the heart of San Diego! I started my visit with their standout single-origin offerings: the Kenya Natural from Endebess Estate, which delivered on those promised notes of blueberry, cherry, jammy sweetness, and a subtle dessert wine finish – it was fruity, vibrant, and complex, like sipping a high-end natural wine but in coffee form. Equally impressive was the Colombia from Sudden Nora farm, with its redcurrant, peach, carbonic honey, fermented peach, black tea, and pomelo profile; the washed process really brought out a clean, honeyed brightness that lingered pleasantly. The "one and one," which turned out to be a delightful piccolo (a small, strong latte with a perfect milk-to-espresso ratio for that velvety texture) paired with another shot of espresso – it was a fantastic way to compare the pure shot's punch against the piccolo's smoother integration, highlighting the beans' nuances without overwhelming the palate. And to round it out, I couldn't resist the Clear POG Skies Clarified Milk Punch: a masterful mix of cold brew, passionfruit-orange-guava juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and coconut milk, served over a rock with a lemon peel garnish. It was recommended for dine-in only, and I see why – the clarification process makes it stunningly clear and silky, with tropical flavors bursting through without any heaviness from the milk. It's refreshing yet indulgent, like a vacation in a glass, and it bridged the gap between coffee and cocktail seamlessly. The baristas were passionate pros, eager to chat about origins and processes, making it feel educational without being stuffy. Heads up, though: the place has a cozy, intimate vibe that can get crowded quickly! All in all, an exceptional experience that left me buzzing (in the best way). I'd rate Little While a glowing 5/5 for its quality, innovation, and that perfect blend of caffeine and creativity. If you're a fan of specialty sips, this is a must-visit!"
