"This restaurant offers fresh food with locally grown products. It is located in the beautiful Sea port village and its farm themed atmosphere is cute. We decided to check for an available table since we didn't make reservations and by chance we got one! We tried the seasonal pomegranate lemonade which had fresh pomegranates. It was a bit on the bitter side but still had a good flavor. I was hoping for more of a variety on the menu, choices were limited and very pricey. We had the taco trio and crab cakes. The food was decent and the ingredients were locally grown. The service was extremely friendly and if you sit outside the view is beautiful!! Overall a good experience. We are hoping to return and try the breakfast."

"3 days in San Diego and this was the best meal and visit of all! Service was on point and aware, ambiance was bright and airy...modern beach vibe. Then there was the food- Fantastic. Shrimp tacos, accompanied by colorful fall vegetables, and black beans topped off a solid dish. Wife (second visit here for the trip) had the Farmers Wife's Chicken, fresh greens on top of a thinned chicken breast seasoned with a fresh tomato based cream sauce. Strongly recommend."

"What drew us to this spot was the location. With waterfront views and endless sunlight streaming through the windows it was perfection. We started with drinks. The strawberry matcha, peppercorn margarita mocktail, and the kale apple juice were definite standouts! We also had some bites including the crab cakes and the seasonal hummus; the hummus and the crudité that accompanied it was our favorite. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the marinated goat cheese with olives 🤤 was the perfect flavor combination for dipping the taro chips! The servers were both helpful with suggestions, knowledgeable of the menu, and super attentive!"

"Perfect Breakfast Spot by the Harbor – Incredible Freshness! I stopped by this place for breakfast after a morning stroll along the waterfront. The location is fantastic, with plenty of charming souvenir shops nearby to explore afterward. The first thing that stood out was the quality of the vegetables—exceptionally fresh and packed with flavor. Every dish we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. For dessert, I tried their Flan, which was quite a unique, creative take on the classic. I usually prefer a traditional, firm, and dense flan, so I was surprised to find a soft, creamy version served over a base of sponge cake (castella) and topped with coconut ice cream. While it wasn't the "classic" flan I expected, it was undeniably good. The sponge cake had a rich, eggy flavor that could stand on its own, and the coconut ice cream was refreshing. Even the mint leaf on top was remarkably fresh and flavorful! Although I’d love to see the flan itself refined even further, the entire plate was beautifully balanced and harmonious. If you’re looking for a great meal with a lovely atmosphere in Seaport Village, this spot is definitely worth a visit."

"My visit to Malibu Farm San Diego was marked by a contrast of experiences. Upon arrival, our hostess greeted us with an unexpectedly brusque demeanor. The menus were set down with a dismissive sort of haste, and the water was poured in a manner that felt more obligatory than hospitable. For a first visit, the lack of warmth was surprising and somewhat disheartening. Fortunately, the tone of the evening shifted once we were seated. Our server, Samira, offered the courtesy and attentiveness one hopes for in a dining experience. Her professionalism restored a sense of comfort and allowed the meal itself to shine. The food was exceptional,fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully prepared. For those who value flavor without sacrificing a sense of well-being, this restaurant is a commendable choice. I sincerely hope future guests are welcomed with greater grace than we initially received, as the food itself is far better than the reception we experienced."
