"My friend wanted to go to Postino for lunch and I'm so glad she showed me this place. Everything was great! I made a reservation however, we got there right when they opened and were seated promptly. At first we sat outside but got up to ask to move and the manager asked is if it was a little chilly out while waving us inside in such an inviting way. For drinks we ordered from the Zero proof menu, the Glow Up I believe. It was nice and subtle with complimenting flavors. A bit sour but sweet as well. For food we ordered the Soup of the Moment which was a chicken noodle soup with pesto. And we got the Chicken Monzerella Panini. The soup was served warm but not hot which I would have appreciated cuz it was a bit cold that morning. The Chicken Monzerella Panini was toasted perfectly with juicy chicken and a nice dressing inside, it was a really good panini We both ordered Bruschetta boards with 4 bruschettas. We got the Brie Apple Fig, Sweet N Spicy Peper Jam Goat Cheese, Burrata Bacon Arugula Tomato, Fresh Monzerella Tomato Basil, Prosciutto Fig Marscarpone, Smoked Salmon Pesto, Salami Pesto, and the Chef's Choice. The Brie Apple Fig was such a refreshing taste it was enjoyable bit! The Sweet N Spicy Pepper Jam Goat Cheese was good with balance flavors but the Goat Cheese wasnt for me. If you like Goat Cheese you'd love this! The Burrata Bacon Arugula Tomato was so refreshing with a nice balance of subtle citrus and really delightful Bacon on it. Just a refreshing bit! The Fresh Monzerella Tomato Basil was good. It was light and nice but simple too. If you're not looking for anything flashy, this js the one for you. The Prosciutto Fig Marscarpone was freshly and salty in al the right ways. It eas a beautiful pairing. Just wonderful. The Smoked Salmon Pesto was really nice with fried capers ans raw red onions on top, it made for a wonderful bite. The Salami Pesto was okay, honestly not to impresside but still a safe choice. And the Chef's Choice was a Mexican street corn tossed in cream and Tapatio and topped with queso fresco and more tapatio. I personally thought there was too much Tapatio but it was still a decent bruschetta. I just thought the bread was a but over toasted ans some burnt making for some hard bites. Overall very nice place and definitely recommend!"

"I used to live in Phoenix and loved Postino, so I was thrilled when they expanded to San Diego! The Little Italy location did not disappoint—amazing service, delicious food, and such a fun, vibey atmosphere. It’s perfect for a night out with friends or celebrating something special. The noise level can be a bit high with the airport and train nearby, but the overall experience more than makes up for it. So happy to have one of my favorite spots here in California!"

"No wait time upon arriving for Sunday lunch. Service was great and we enjoyed the special $7 wine glass until 5pm. Highly recommend getting the bruschetta board, it was so nice that they came cut up into four slices for me and my fiancé to share! We ended up combining the salami & pesto with the mozzarella & tomato one because we felt the latter needed a little bit of salt or some type of sauce, like balsamic vinaigrette or even the pesto (a suggestion for a menu change for the future, perhaps!). We upgraded our side salad to the brussel sprouts salad, which was tasty, and the prosciutto panini was a nice mix of salt and sweet with the fig in it."

"No wait on a Monday evening. The interior of the restaurant is super interesting and unique, but very dark. All of the food was delicious! There was both indoor and outdoor seating available."

"11pm eats! Sophisticated urban oasis. Legit Italian flavors and preparation. Well-curated wine list. Indoor and outdoor seating. Candlelit tables and retro decor for a mid-century kiss to authenticity. Contemporary music w/o being harsh. Classy host, attentive server (Rudy), and fair prices! Late night nosh or family celebration, I'd hit this up again and again. Loved the P.R.E.M.A. with chicken, light Romesco sauce, mucho bello. Shrimp scampi with artichokes was light an perfectly sautéed. Three slices of crisp and tender garlic bread."
