"Route 6 was on our way back home to LA, so we showed up unaware that it's located in a tennis club and we felt very out of place and we were stared at for trying to find the entrance.. it was very strange and uncomfortable. I ordered a latte which was okay, but tasted like there wasn't much coffee, but another $1 shot of espresso made it taste great! We ordered food, two of us loved it, the other two didn't as the food was really bland and we were told they don't use anything such as salt or pepper, so I threw my food away, but some ppl love bland food. Overall their prices were great and we were mostly satisfied after some adjustments, but I wouldn't go here again."
"We stumbled upon this coffee cafe while searching Google for a route to a meeting. It was on our way and had a lot of 5 star reviews. So, we gave it a try. I was hungry and ready for something different. This place is located within the Balboa Tennis Club. It is not hard to find, but is off the beaten path. We ordered an acai bowl and a breakfast burrito with soy chorizo, as well as a Mexican mocha. This was not prepackaged food, but a freshly made burrito. After picking up our food and digging in, we both enjoyed the flavors and quality of our food and the mocha. Prices are equivalent to other type places in the area. We watched a couple tennis matches (nothing formal) as we ate. I would recommend this to locals and visitors. Nothing fancy. But good."
