"I first visited and rated Rum Jungle on Yelp 5 years ago - gave them 5 stars back then. I'm back over 5 years later... and I am happy to report they are still as awesome as ever. Delicious and fresh food, delectable drinks and treats, fantastic vibes and superb service. The service specifically is amazing - they're super attentive and pay attention to what taste or meal generally you're trying to accomplish. I ordered the Power Wrap (my favorite item on the menu - highly recommend) and asked for no turkey. The gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish and offered a solution. That really impressed me and I truly appreciated it. It's a great spot to chill and work too [though not if you're taking calls - they have (good) music on and the other patrons can be loud]. Definitely worth visiting in the PB area!"

"I noticed I was the ONLY guest not greeted with a “hello, how may I help you or anything. While everyone else of a different skin tone was greeted upon entry. I am a pleasant, young black woman so I never appreciate when people don’t treat me with the same level of respect. I initially went here for green juice which I was told they cannot make it, no reason provided so I opted for a bacon, egg & cheese bagel. Not worth $15, one thin egg, soggy bagel and shredded cheese… the flavor was decent but more of a $5 sandwich. I waited about 25 minutes for my sandwich. Plus side, the music is great! The ambience is relaxing but I wouldn’t return."

"Rum Jungle is fantastic! The place has a cool, tropical vibe that makes you feel like you're on a getaway. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Even in a busy sunny friday we got the order pretty quickly. In the picture: The watermelon and pineapple bowls are not only AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL (in 5 min at the beach 3 groups stopped to ask where we got) but also refreshing. The mixed berry salad is amazing too! Fresh, juicy berries with crisp greens and a light dressing make it perfect and tasty. Overall, they offer delicious, fresh, and healthy food. Highly recommend it! I am definitely coming back for more AÇAÍ 😍"

"Away from the crowds. Probably great to order to-go too, and bring it to the beach to lay out and picnic. Quick simple foods/snacks (juice, acai bowls, sandwiches, wraps, and CBD drinks). No restroom. We found this place when looking for a snack place. A place that's casual, easy to grab food, no fuss place. This place was perfect. We didn't come with high expectations. And just happy they offer healthy options. If visiting PB to stroll and layout for a chill pace, this place is a good visit before, in between, or ending. Next time, I'd order a juice and CBD water drink to stroll down PB. Both $13.50 La Jolla Sandwich (cheese on the side), and $11.99 PB Acai Small Bowl were simple and good. There's indoor and outdoor seating."

"I only gave 4 stars because the fruit bowls were really delicious and decently priced for the portions. Other then that the customer service could improve. First I had to greet the counter person, and they only responded with a half smile. Didn't feel welcome at all and we were the only ones in the store! When I asked about a specific ingredient due to food allergies I was given a shrug and one word answers. To top it off they were playing music with very explicit content. I made sure to Shazam the one song so I knew exactly what it was called. "Nutz on ya chin" unedited was just surprising to hear in a health focused fruit place. But to each there own, the fruit was definitely amazing!!"
