from Google & Yelp"The food is absolutely amazing. It really should be sampled, especially during taco tuesday. They are full 6 inch tortillas, and you get a double it Tortilla with a spoonful of protein. You can easily take the bottom tortilla and spoon off half of your protein to make two tacos out of one and still have two full tacos. Best deal I've seen for 2.99. The green creamy salsa was the best. The other sauces were not so great, but it certainly didn't take away from the food. The carrots and the peppers were perfect. Just be sure to remember if you pay with the credit card, there is a surcharge. That was a little surprise for me. I was a little surprised that the food did not get bussed to the table and they seem to be a little bit tight with the silverware. You did have to pick up after yourself when you were done eating. The restaurant was clean and there was light traffic. Honestly, I could only eat two tacos of the 4 that came from my 2 taco order. They were happy to provide me with a to go container. There was plenty of parking. It is definitely worth a visit."
"Their california burritos are very good. Love the variety of salsas. Open 24 hours for your munchie needs. Their drive thru is a bit awkward being on the passenger side, but the cashier has this paddle to hand you the check and your food."
"We were returning to the San Gabriel Valley after our Grandson's graduation from MCRD San Diego and wanted to get some thing for the drive so when we saw Tony's we decided to stop. Let me tell you that the Tacos were the best That we had eaten in such a long time. We would drive to S.D. just to eat them. The young lady at the window was super nice and helpful."
"When I’m in San Diego I’m on a mission to find THE spot, so I try a new place every time I’m here. I chose to try Tony’s because it looked authentic and they are open 24/7 and have a drive thru. We opted to dine in. As soon as you enter you get hit with a very busy menu, it took me a while to order. We got a Quesadilla, burrito and fish taco. The quesadilla was ok, everything else lacked flavor. SD is SD so of course there was a guy asleep snoring. We ate quick and left."
"This place makes the best fish tacos I've ever had. Both the Point Loma location and the Washington Ave are great, but I personally prefer the Point Loma location because the staff there go above and beyond there. I always get the fish taco, which is $6.50 plus tax, and it never fails to disappoint. Large serving, extremely fresh, and always delicious."
"Everything from the micheladas to the breakfast burritos is dialed in. The micheladas? Perfectly balanced, spicy, refreshing, and dangerous in the "I'll..."
