from Google"Swung by to grab a drink before Dumpling Home seating. Lots of space, and probably more crowded than usual with the NBA finals game playing. Can of hazy for $8-$9 was a bit on the high end, but expected with SF pricing."
"One of my favorite bars in SF, great music, chill vibe, and good selection of beers on tap. Great place to come after a long day or when getting my bar crawl night started"
"The menu offers a variety of delightful dishes, and here's what stood out: 🌽 Corn R'bz: I tried the Corn Ribs for the first time, and they were a revelation! The combination of mayo, cotija cheese, tajin chili powder, and parsley created a burst of flavors that left me wanting more. Absolutely delicious! 🧀 Nachos: The Nachos with tortilla chips, melted cheese, sour cream, green onion, tomatoes, jalapeno, and avocado were a delightful treat. Each bite was a perfect blend of textures and flavors, making it a tasty experience. 🍲 Fried Cauliflower: The Fried Cauliflower, lightly brushed with buttermilk and sea salt, served with chipotle aioli, was another winner. The cauliflower had a satisfying crunch, and the aioli complemented it perfectly. 🍗 Buffalo Wings: The Buffalo Wings with ranch sauce were juicy and flavorful. A must-try for wing enthusiasts! 🍹 Margarita Pitcher: The Margarita Pitcher was a great addition to the meal. The taste leaned towards the sour side, but it was undeniably good. 👫 Friendly Staff and Good Vibes: The staff at Afterwork Bar were incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The positive vibes added to the overall enjoyment of the evening."
"Super friendly and helpful staff. Great food and plenty of space in the light filled back room with long tables for office happy hours. There are multiple tvs plus some games. Really great space!"
"The best bar in Hayes Valley - we’ll rounded in good food, low prices, fast service, great vibes. Happy hour: 5/5. Great discounts on pitchers, beers, and food. 10 wings for $10! Plus, drinks work out to be about $6 each. For my gluten free readers, they’ve got a cider on tap and margarita pitchers during HH. Plus, lots of food discounts. Food: connected with the bird and super duper burgers, there are lots of options. The melty cheddar cheese always makes me feel a little gross after, but that comes with the turf. Avoid the nachos, get the fries or the tots. The naked bird is gluten free - a rice batter coating - and add some fries to make it a meal. Don’t go spicy or you won’t be able to taste anything for an hour. You’ll still probably ignore this because “you can handle it”, but just get ready to be humbled. Doesn’t add to the experience, just go regular. Drinks: they’re good - nothing to write home about. On the cheaper side, and it comes out quick. Games: lots of table games in the back, but even more sports games on the TV. Come here for championships and it’s a good time."
