"New smooth looking cafe that replaced the old cramped one. Yeah, it’s still a bit cramped, but it at least looks less cozy! Cold drinks are pretty good. Well proportioned, tasty. The baked goods are pretty decent too, especially the scones. The main disappointment is in the espresso. The regular drip tastes fine. But the espresso is usually overstrained, more straight bitter than anything else; no amount of milk and sugar is going to cover that up, sadly. Quality of milk frothing is inconsistent; sometimes it’s smooth and slightly sweet, most of the time it’s some manner of over steamed or scorched."
