"I like this cafe, it does have some interesting events and people here are nice. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Over $20 for a small sandwich and a coffee before tip. Tastes nice but the ingredients aren't anything premium. Feels like a lot of the "cost" is because the cafe is more of a remote workspace for more people, with lots of folks on laptops. It has a bit of a monopoly in this as other nearby cafes vary in their wifi availability."

I do get frustrated that some of the staff is completely oblivious when there is no music playing. Some of the staff picks such good music that it's so sorely missed when the later shifts forget to play any."

"This is my favorite cafe in San Francisco— the food is delicious and it has a great no-frills atmosphere. Whether you are vegetarian or not, you have to try the beetloaf— I’ve never had another sandwich like it. They also have a nice outdoor seating area and on Thursday/Friday nights they have jazz bands come in."

"This looks like a great place to work or maybe grab a coffee, but as a restaurant it was lacking. I got the turkey sandwich which tasted good, but was disappointingly small for the price ($17 after tax) it also took ~30 mins to make which seems excessive. The space and atmosphere were nice though with a lot of people working on laptops and lots of tables to do so at. Also has an outdoor patio space. I might try it again for a working coffee, but not much of a lunch spot."
