What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"If you are walking around Pier 39 on a cool San Francisco morning and craving a hot cup of coffee to really open your eyes and help you enjoy the beautiful scenery the waterfront offers, Biscoff Coffee Corner is easily one of the best options you will find around there. But when you stop by for the coffee, you will get a delightful surprise! That surprise comes in the form of a Speculoos cookie, which has become Europe’s favorite companion to coffee. While Biscoff is the brand name, the cookie itself—a crisp, caramelized biscuit with a signature spice blend—has a deep European history. Speculoos (or Speculaas) cookies are traditionally baked around St. Nicholas Day and Christmas in countries like the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and Austria. The name "Speculoos" may even derive from the Latin word speculum (mirror), as the cookies were traditionally pressed with elaborate wooden molds depicting scenes or figures. The Lotus Bakeries company, which makes the famous Biscoff cookie, actually started way back in 1932 in the town of Lembeke, Belgium. The name Biscoff is a clever combination of BIScuit and COFFee—perfect for this Pier 39 stop! So grab your piping hot coffee, your crunchy, spiced Speculoos, and enjoy your walk around Pier 39 and the stunning Bay views!"
"Biscoff Coffee at 39 Pier is one of my favorite stops. I absolutely love their Biscoff Latte — it’s always consistent and served hot, which feels extra comforting in the winters. I also pick up a pack of Biscoff biscuits so I can pair them with black coffee at home. It’s the perfect little energy booster when you’re tired from exploring the pier or just walking around the city. The vibe is cozy and it’s a great spot to take a break. A must-visit for me whenever I’m at the piers."
"The most famous coffee shop at Pier 39 which has a very heavy tourist footfall especially on weekends. The coffee shop is right in the beginning of pier 39 and there is always a large queue forming out of the store for people waiting to order. The ordering is carried out inside the store, where they have displayed their menu for people waiting in the queue to select. There are two ordering counters and they make sure to move the queue fast, so do select your order item while waiting in the queue. The drinks and food items are served at the counter on the outer end of the shop. Their cookies and other merchandise are displayed inside the store and can be picked up at the time of ordering. Despite being very busy the staff are nice and helpful. Getting coffee from here is almost part of the Pier 39 experience. Parking has to be in a parking garage across the road and it’s very costly to park."
"A fun little sweet stop right on Pier 39 that really hits the spot. Their signature Biscoff cookies and treats are a timely energy boost while you're strolling by the water—perfect paired with a coffee. The store is compact and colorful, full of delicious spreads, ice cream, and nostalgic confections. It’s a cozy, cheerful find on a lively pier and totally worth a visit if you love that classic Biscoff flavor."
"This was my first time in San Francisco, and I was absolutely thrilled to stumble upon the Biscoff Coffee Corner at Fisherman’s Wharf! As someone who has always loved Biscoff, discovering an actual Biscoff coffee shop felt like a dream come true. 😍 I tried the Biscoff Latte ☕️, and it was incredible! Every sip was the perfect balance of smooth coffee and that classic Biscoff flavour. My partner tried the same but with oat milk as she can’t handle dairy and it seemed like the oat flavour didn’t dominate the drink a lot. Rich, cozy, and comforting. The shop also had a great selection of Biscoff products, including coffee beans and snacks, which made it hard not to walk out with a bag full of goodies. 🛍️ The staff were super friendly and welcoming, adding to the whole experience. This place is an absolute gem for any coffee lover. One of my favourite spots in the Fisherman’s Wharf area a must-try if you’re visiting San Francisco! 🎣 🍤"
