from Google"Such a beautiful gem of a place! Cute decor and vibe! Love the server Brooklyn - she was sweet. Had the pizza which was delish with the full of flavor meatballs. Good portions. Will definitely visit again and try the eggplant sandwich. Lambrusco was on point! The CVC threw me off. Now I understand why this place got high reviews."
"Easily one of the best meals ive had in sf which is saying a lot because i rarely RARELY have a bad/mediocre bite in this city This is just top tier for me The bread is INSANEEE crispy good flavour thin but with just enough chew; the perfect sandwich bread ever We got the margarita with chicken the tomatoes are sooo fresh the sauce is delicate and also bursting with flavour The fruit toast is a must: the honey is mild so it sweetens the ricotta and fruit but its still kind of complex because its not just sugary, but its not over powering honey flavour. Ive never had anything like it Loved the taglio salad it was punchy and vingary with crunchy lettuces NA moscato is really nice, sips exactly like a mild white wine Ordered an Arnold Palmer with their iced tea and mint lemonade 😍😍 Already plotting on when to come back. Amazing ingredients prepared to perfection!!!"
"We came here after going to a special exhibit at the Legion of Honor, what a treat! I loved the decor with dark paint and gold/brass lamps in this warm cafe'. I had the Green Dream with grilled Zucchini, whipped ricotta with lemon zest, pesto and pistachio, mmmmmmm... Flavors dancing on my tongue! The service was friendly and quick. This will become a regular lunch spot when going to the Legion of Honor."
"Boa CVC in SF has a self-service setup that works well. Housemade bread is good, pizza is tasty and more flatbreadish, and salads are fresh. The casual vibe and friendly staff make it easy to enjoy a quick, satisfying meal."
"I asked for no cheese on my dish because I have a cheese allergy. The first plate arrived with cheese, so I politely asked for a new salad without it. They brought a replacement, but after I started eating, I realized it appeared they had simply removed the cheese from the original salad instead of making a fresh one. I calmly asked for a refund and asked why it was handled that way. Since I clearly stated it was an allergy, re-serving the same salad after picking off the cheese isn’t safe or acceptable. I then spoke with the owner who was there. I explained again that it’s not okay to “remove the cheese” from a salad that was supposed to be replaced. He responded that it was a small issue, they were busy, and apologized—then offered to refund the entire order. I appreciated the refund (that was the minimum I expected), but the overall experience was still disappointing and uncomfortable, and it didn’t feel like my allergy was taken seriously. Also, when I brought this issue to the waitress she started crying.... I absolutely understand you may be tired but I was nice and your reactions and actions were disproportional"
