What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I have to say that Breadbelly is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. Some menu items change seasonally, which I love, since I can always get an old favorite or something new. Highlights: Matcha Cappuccino, Egg Salad Bunwich, Gyeranbbang (gluten free!), any type of croissant or pastry. Parking is difficult, so walk or bike if you can. Seating is outdoors. Service is efficient and friendly. I’ll keep going back to Breadbelly as frequently as my wallet will allow!"
"Unique innovative flavors! Was worried that the Kaya toast would be too sweet but the salt perfectly balanced it out. The French toast texture of the Kaya toast was insane too! Black sesame cappuccino had excellent balance of nuttiness and sweetness. Service was kind, great outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back"
"I LOVE LOVE LOVE breadbelly. It’s has the BEST matcha lattes in the city in my opinion, even better than some of the matcha I had in Japan, which is A LOT. I have been trying to find a matcha that tops this place and very few places come close. I want to gatekeep this place so much and for as long as I can but it’s becoming increasingly popular these days. So expect long lines on weekends. I’m just sad I can’t go everyday because it’s so far out in Richmond. Yes the prices are pricey ($8+ for matcha) and yes they charge an employee mandate fee. But it’s worth it. I also love their Kaya toast and bun. Their rotating seasonal drinks are great too. 10/10"
"Nom nom nom, this is a must try if you're in the area. Everything was on point in regard to the flavor profile. The pastries and drinks were well prepared with the use of quality ingredients. Great customer service and the wait wasn't very long. Seating indoors is limited, because it is a small facility. They do offer additional seating outdoors, but on busy days you may be out of luck or have to wait. I will definitely be back. Breadbelly is a family favorite! 💜"
"Biscuit sandwich was immaculate - both flavors and textures were unreal. I also got the fig pastry which was so tasty. Highly recommend if you're in the SF area - NYT wasn't lying about this one!"
"Ordered online - super easy/convenient! The Kaya toast was my favorite. Also had a the rosy twice baked croissant, passion fruit sticky pastry, both tasty...."
