from Google"There’s a bagel baked in there. The Detroit bagel. This was delicious. And definitely enough to share or save for later."
"Sorry, hard pass on these bagels. The Serrano Asiago cheese bagel was literally a plain bagel with a thick slice of white cheese and some pepper slices on top. No cheese or pepper in the bagel at all. Pretty flavorless and the workers didn’t really seem to know what they were doing putting it together. Very slow service."
"Tried the banana bread + cream cheese and it was so moist and tasty without being sugary sweet. Will definitely be back to try more yummy treats!"
"Look. I normally only do Pizza Reviews, as a Top 10% Reviewer as well as a Devotee of Pizza. After trying 85 Pizza Establishments in San Francisco since May 2022 alone, this Pizza Reviewer needed a little bit of a break. Luckily, Tony Gemignani has a bagel establishment. After now trying Tony's Napoletana, Tony's Coal Fire Pizza, Slice House as well as the final boss that is Capo's I can assure you any time that bread or cheese are in the picture and Tony Gemignani is involved, you are not going to be the same after you experience whatever it is you are about to partake in. Tony Gemignani is full on the G.O.A.T. for San Francisco bread and cheese. I am not afraid to gloat about how much I respect Tony Gemignani after trying that many of his establishments. I hope one day Tony Gemignani and I will become friends because I can tell this man is as close to a Pizza Saint as any Mortal Man can be. The standard Poppy Seed bagel with Plain Cream Cheese comes correct. An example of how any good bagel should be. But here's the thing that is way more important for Pizza Devotees... The Detroit Style Bagel. Get out of my face. If you have no reason yet to try Dago Bagel... that's the reason. Innovative. Immaculate. Imperceptible. Indescribably good. Read the following words; Detroit Style Bagel. Yes, like Detroit Style Pizza but Detroit Style Bagel. Repeat after me, "Detroit Style Bagel" and now repeat 11 times. Go here for this reason among many. I guarantee you, as a San Francisco local, that the only problem with this place is they don't make the Detroit Style Bagel in San Francisco Sourdough as well already. That is it. Tony Gemignani, are you kidding me bro? Dawg. Best $2.85 I have spent in a long time. Bravo."
"Good bagels, bread, and coffee. We've been here twice, and both times we thought the bagels were best heated in a toaster oven at home to bring out the chew. The fougasse-like rosemary and salt bread (I think they call it piadine) is really yummy (no heating necessary). Update: unchanged, all still delicious!"
