"Let’s face it there are not a lot of breakfast places in Fisherman’s Wharf, unless perhaps you’re at a hotel. We were out on a Sunday am, and most places weren’t opening until 11. And there was Darren!!!! Darren’s staff and I think owner were funny, engaging and provided 10 service, plus a pretty damn good breakfast. Good value for that area of San Fran. I also loved that you could see the kitchen a d watch them cook, always reassuring!!!! We would go back!"

"After getting a dipstick realignment at the Oriental Palace of Eastern Joys, I walked up Taylor street to one of the best Cafés in the city ...That's right Pilgrim ..Darren's Café! It truly is a special place, honest to goodness food made fresh to order with only the freshest of ingredients. Today's sandwich was simplisticly amazing to say the least, the flavors melted together perfectly! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆"

"Darren’s Cafe has the best breakfast I have found in San Francisco so far. I arrived here right when they opened. The service was friendly and incredibly fast. We were in and out in around 20 minutes. The French toast was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I would recommend stopping here if you are looking for breakfast in the area. They have a very large menu. I only included pictures of breakfast as that is what I was there for."

"This place is small but packs big flavor and value into their filling breakfast. When it comes to eggs for breakfast I am very hard to please. They have to be just the right amount of firmness and the toast browned right. David hit on all points. Eat here, you won’t regret it."
