What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"First time trying Graffeo Coffee Roasting. I decided to purchase the dark roast beans. I am so happy with this coffee. I usually use cream in my coffee. One day I ran out of cream, so I decided to try it black. I thought the coffee was smooth and robust and great to the last drop. I think a coffee should taste the same from the first to the last sip without changing. This coffee past this test with 5 star quality. I highly recommend that you visit or even order online this epic coffee."
"I am a coffee snob, OK? I heat up my coffee mug before I pour coffee into it. I toss coffee out if it’s too weak or has a questionable aftertaste. And I do NOT put anything in my coffee except whole milk or cream. You see what I mean? I’ve basically painted an unflattering, but honest, picture of myself as a coffee drinker. But here’s the thing: I only drink two or three cups a day, and I want every one of them, especially the first, to be damned right. That’s where Graffeo Coffee Roasting Company comes in. Graffeo roasts their beans just right, and they’ve been doing it since 1935. In a world where coffee trends change every month, Graffeo remains proudly old-school: small-batch, no gimmicks, no Instagram drink specials, just consistently excellent coffee. I love their Dark Roast, which works beautifully for both drip and espresso. They roast their beans right on site, and when you walk in, the heavenly smell of fresh coffee hits you like an angel’s wing. It’s worth stopping by just for that moment alone. Buy a half-pound of whole beans, take them home, grind only what you need for a single serving, make your coffee right away, and savor the taste. You’ll understand why this little roastery has survived nearly a century while others have come and gone. And for the love of good coffee, never grind your beans days in advance. Ground coffee absorbs smells like a sponge. You do NOT want your morning cup tasting like the salmon you cooked last night, do you? Also worth noting: Graffeo keeps things simple, no café seating, no complicated menu, and yes, still cash or check only at their original North Beach shop. But honestly, it fits their vibe perfectly. They focus on what they do best: roasting outstanding coffee."
"Well, been trying various DeCaf grinds at various Stores and they are all terrible. Then I saw an Instagram post for this Graffeo Brand and it’s “Swiss Water DECAF”. It was pricey and I paid for shipping with USPS who dropped the ball, and lost my package, but eventually got my Coffee. WOW, as in holy Wow. That is some high quality Decaf Espresso. Amazing flavor. No Bitterness. No burnt aftertaste. Can’t really tell it’s DECAF after a few Cups. Amazing product. Spend the money and try this Brand. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️"
"Graffeo is the world's finest coffee, and also much more than just coffee. The staff is off the charts knowledgeable about both coffee, as well as their proprietary roasting process. If you want to gain real coffee knowledge there is nothing like time at Graffeo with their team sharing insights and artisan experience. The community they have built is equally amazing. When I had family drop by Graffeo the team offered a full tour of the roasting facilities! For the younger family members the Graffeo experience was a highlight of their San Francisco visit, on par with riding on cable cars. Hats off to the entire Graffeo team, and enthusiastically recommend Graffeo to anyone looking for either the world's finest coffee, or one of the world's finest communities. Having now visited over the holiday season I would add that their Christmas decorations are wonderful. For a moment in time I thought I was on 5th Avenue in New York City. For anyone who enjoys the wonder of the holiday season in San Francisco I recommend walking by this store to enjoy, and of course purchase some coffee for later as well."
"Purchased Half and Half whole bean and truly disappointed… As someone who has traveled to many countries that supposedly produce high quality and highly rated coffee, I humbly believe that after 15 + years, I know coffee.. Do not understand the hype for the what is being offered to coffee drinkers. The taste and aroma is very mediocre, not superior to the offerings one finds in the neighborhood supermarket !! It baffles me how the reviews go on and on praising everything about the coffee.. Reviewers mention mass produced coffee as a comparison and then write how ‘over the moon’ they are in drinking their Graffeo !! Not one review ever mentions that the writer ever purchased or drank coffee purchased from countries- specifically regions like Blue Mountains of Jamaica or 100% Kona or from Vietnam or from other countries.. I wonder if reviews posted for Graffeo are not AI generated or just unsophisticated consumers !!"
