What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Walked in by chance. We were touring San Francisco and wanted to get something portable, so donuts and smoothie sounded good. Once inside we saw the two ladies making amazing ham/cheese croissant sandwich and we had to try. Delicious!! Hot and toasty from the oven, flaky croissant. So good. We also saw huge chicken burritos being made… will have one of those next time! The mango smoothie was a cool blast of flavor. Tasted like summer. We also got a glazed donut (why not?! 😉) and an apple fritter. Both were fresh and delicious. Accessible. A few small tables. Street parking."
"Happy Donuts is Saturday ritual for me and my young daughter. The maple bars are delicious!"
"The best deal for a quick bite on Haight Street. I personally like the $1.95 apple fritter, but you have to get there early to get one. I think they close at 5 PM because one time when I was visiting the place was empty and they turned the lights off. I got up and quietly left. They also have a number of breakfast and lunch-type sandwiches which I have never sampled but I've heard they are tasty."
"Got a quick Swiss and ham croissant for breakfast. Very straightforward, nothing fancy. My opinion is that it’s pricey for what it was but solid item. Flaky croissant!"
"I have been coming here for long time since I came back from Las Vegas and was a steady customer since after the pandemic. I had no problems until today when she made me a turkey sandwich instead of Roast beef which I order all the time coming here. So I am putting down a not so good review and they get 1 star. I will not be coming back"
"I wish I could tell you that I had more here than a delicious Chocolate Donut but I didn't and if that's all I had to say about Happy Donuts this review..."
