What People Are Saying
from Google"Friends and I dined here for the first time NYE. We were happy to see it was absolutely packed. We decided to share all dishes family style since all sounded delicious. We ordered a bottle of champagne, a starter, and three mains amongst four people. We ordered: Crispy Glazed Pork Belly Bao Buns, Ricotta Gnocci, Grilled Wagyu Flatiron Steak Frites, and Duck Carbonara. Service was fine, but thought it was interesting that our server asked us if we had a peanut allergy after we ordered our dishes and when our starter arrived. Standout: Duck Carbonara"
"This place was buzzing after 530p with almost all the seats taken inside and outside! Looks like a good happy hour. We ate at a table before a symphony show and it is a very short walk to the performance theaters. Noticed a number of people ordering the hamburger and fries (and boy did they look good)! Cauliflower appetizer had a nice flavor and a little edge (spiciness) to it. The salmon on the latkies had a good amount of salmon and a good crunch. My niece had the melt in your mouth gnocchi with the right amount of sauce. Will be back to try some more items!"
"So I tried Haziest a few days ago and I'd give this place a big thumbs up. I didn't feel hazy or drowsy but enjoyed the bold flavors presented in every dish. From the cauliflower to the buns the salad the duck carbonara and the chicken. All presented beautifully and sending one's taste buds across the spectrum. Each dish was also nicely presented, so nice that some of my friends dug in faster than I could take a photo. Any drawbacks you might ask. The wine selection is not spectacular but they make up with the bar on their cocktails."
"Exceptional service from staff! Particularly Eduardo and Art. The food is fresh and made to order. I had the Beet salad which was more filling than I expected, and delicious. Even the restrooms are 5 star. Don’t make it out to the city very often, but next time we see a show nearby, we will be back."
"Cozy and cute spot for tasty American fare! I visited Hazie’s for a Saturday morning brunch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the space was! The restaurant is spacious and extremely cozy, with ample seating and sunlight. The staff was remarkably friendly, cheerful, and attentive — they joked around with us, noticed immediately when we finished eating and boxed up our food / cleared plates, and were just all around an absolute delight. The food was also very tasty, although I think I’d be excited to come back for lunch / dinner vs. brunch and try from a more expansive (and more vegetarian-friendly) menu. I got their mushroom frittata, which was delicious; it was absolutely packed with mushroom, spinach, and leek, and it came topped with a generous spread of melty goat cheese and pico de gallo. I loved the pop of freshness from the pico — it was much needed to cut through how dense and heavy the frittata was otherwise. It also came with four slices of toast, although they were a smidge too buttery. My partner got their burger with avocado and a side salad and was also very impressed; he commented it was likely a 90th percentile burger for him. It was quite sizeable and cooked at a perfect medium (as he had ordered it), and I appreciated that they put all the tomatoes and pickles on the side so they didn’t get the burger all soggy. The salad was very fresh and quite tasty as well, and was a refreshing break between bites of burger (or, for me, frittata)."
