What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Nice cafe with a selection of pastries, sandwiches, salads and beverages. The mango pastry/mousse dessert that I had was very nice. The cafe is priced on the higher end so it may feel expensive."
"Had a pleasant meal at the Legion of Honor Cafe. Cafeteria style service, you order and pay, they give you a number and bring your food when it's ready. Regretfully lentil soup was advertised on their sign-board, but the only soup the kitchen made was minestrone. Soup came with crackers, and was basically commercially made heat and serve soup. Mocha latte was made fresh, and was decent for a cafe. The desserts were typical commercially made frozen/thaw/serve desserts, but they taste good."
"Food tasted ok but it was pricey. The pastry I ordered later however was very delicious and was the best part of my experience"
"A cafeteria style cafe in a museum downstairs from the main entrance. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a nice amenity to break up the museum visit albeit very expensive. Checked their menu as of September 2025 and one of the salads is at least $22.00- ouch. Their pastries are good and service was quick and fair though."
"We had coffee and pastries, vegetarian burger for breakfast, before seeing the Museum. Japanese prints was on display today. The burger was very good, also the Cole slaw that came with it."
"After walking through the galleries at the Legion of Honor, I was getting sleeping and decided to stop by the cafe for a quick break. I ordered a Macchiato,..."
