But what truly sets this place apart is the warm, stellar service, the spotless shop, and the vibrant, happy atmosphere that makes every sip even better. This isn't just coffee. I's an experience. "This location is right next to the City College of San Francisco, Ocean campus, offering outlets with power in a large dining area for a coffee shop. The service was kind with a greeting as I walked in and had a clean dining area and front counter display, showing a nice food choice for combinations with coffee or tea."

"I’m very torn about the food hygiene at this location, specifically regarding the pastries. I can see the flies on the pastries and bagels. I mentioned it to the staff and they were incredibly receptive about my feedback. I’m sad to say management has chosen aesthetics over proper food hygiene. I sincerely hope they adjust their practices. Until then I’ll eat only sealed foods, but it calls into question the rest of their hygiene practices. Nonetheless, I’m super uber grateful for this location to be open on Thanksgiving, even for a limited time. "The worst Philz experience I have ever had. The place is a dump. Mobile ordering only, the bathroom smells of urine, music is distasteful and everything from floors to tables are disgusting. I ordered a croissant that was stale when I took a corner off, I went up to ask if they could heat it up and they said they couldn't because I had taken a bite off. Huge fan of Philz generally, this is the worst one... EVER."
