"Friendly cashier and brew master on a Sunday evening. The place was tidy and the restroom was in a clean condition. Seems like a chill environment. There is street parking but don't count on actually finding a free space. Took me a while to find a spot, I may or may not have parked in the red zone while "quickly" getting my order placed."

"I wasn’t sure how it would taste being that this was all drip coffee made all fancy with milk and syrup. I got a simple coffee sweetened with honey (1/2 sweet) thank goodness the staff person suggested 1/2 sweet. My go to drink is a basic Americano/no room. So, this was a “treat” drink for me. The breakfast burrito was decent, even better since I didn't have to make it! Sounds like Philz is a local favorite and I can see why."

"Deceptively and unfairly adds a fee called "SF health mandate" to the menu price called a tax. It is categorically not so. This is a restaurant set fee that should be included in the menu price. Listing it separately is deceptive and and possibly fraudulent considering that they call it a tax. Due to their dishonesty 1 star."

"One of my favorite coffee chains in the Bay Area. Their tesora coffee (their house blend) is absolutely delicious, and their chilled mint mojitos are great on a warm day. This location is pretty spacious with lots of indoor seating and decent wifi, making it a nice place to grab a coffee and get see work done."

"Outstanding coffee that is far better than your typical chains. Definitely worth seeking out. They often have a truck down in the Marina district as well."
