"The service was excellent. It was raining and the shop was completely full. There was an empty table but no chair available because the chairs had been taken by other customers. I was standing and eating my pastry at the table when someone from the kitchen noticed and brought me a plastic chair from the back so I could sit down. It was a small but very thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. Stella Pastry is a classic Italian bakery in North Beach and it’s easy to see why it’s so well regarded. The pastries are consistently well made and balanced, without being overly sweet. The cannoli stands out for its crisp shell and smooth ricotta filling, with just the right amount of sweetness and texture. The tiramisu is also very solid—good coffee flavor, clean layers, and not overly heavy. Sacripantina is less common but represents a more traditional Italian-style cake with sponge, cream, and subtle alcohol notes. Overall, the desserts feel carefully made, with attention to proportion and flavor rather than excess. This is the kind of place people return to for reliable, classic Italian pastries rather than trendy or overdone sweets"

"An adequate space to have coffee and dessert in the North Beach area in San Francisco aka Little Italy was a very good experience. Mind you I’ve had their tiramisu before but this is the first time I’ll have them at their shop. Lots of really good & yummy selection but I want to have the one that’s already been tested…the tiramisu….and as always it didn’t fail. If you want authentic best tasting tiramisu….Stella is the place! I went 6pm on a Thursday night and all the tables inside were occupied which is a good sign. That said I had to use 1 of the 2 outdoor tables which I didn’t mind. I would’ve opted for it anyway. Next target…their cream puff! I can’t wait to come back again this time with friends! 😋👌🏼 There was only 1 person working but service was still a delight."

"Ordered tiramisu and their sacripantina. Both super solid and delicious- sacripantina is a lot more cream focused with a vanilla flavoring which I did enjoy and their size was pretty reasonable for their price (around $7 per slice)! Pretty small place so might not get seating when it’s packed but good cake stop when craving one!"

"Bought two pastries and a single cappuccino. The sacripantina was delicious. Light consistency, easy to eat, but great flavor. The chocolate truffle slice was dense and delicious. A friend told me it was the "best chocolate anything" he's had on this trip while happily choking on the cocoa powder. The single shot cappuccino was strong with dense foam, not bitter. 10/10, highly recommend."

"Anyone call this tiramisu, really? Not make with lady fingers, no coffee and rum dip! It’s also frozen with ice in the middle. Even Trader Joe’s tiramisu is way way better than this! Plz don’t fool by the good reviews about the tiramisu! And we ordered decaf coffee, the waiter just pump from the orange thermal then pumped from the black thermal(which is usually cafe) and when I asked they mentioned they are the same. Which I highly doubt about that but I don’t have evidence."
