"Recently discovered this hidden gem - go here for a wonderful neighborhood diner atmosphere (they were featuring jazz from the 20's and 30's while I was there) with food that tastes home cooked and the kindest service from people who've been running the restaurant for 50+ years. Everything we ordered was so yummy, but I can't recommend the clam chowder enough. I just spent 2 years on the Monterey Peninsula, but the Cove's clam chowder was better than anything I had down there. Go here!"

"The Cove is a home away from home for a lot of people. The servers are kind and committed to providing a nice experience for their customers. The food is a step above most other SF diners. There's a big range of options, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. I'm also partial to cobbling together sides--for example three scrambled eggs, chicken breast, and the Irish soda bread that comes with the soup. Delicious!"
