"Another day, another trip to Block Coffee! I have quickly become a regular customer. I came for the lattes but now I’m also getting the teas and fruit-ades. The yuzu-ade and the peach tea are my top non-coffee picks. I love matcha, but I can’t have it anymore, however, one of my family members is a huge fan of their berry matcha! The atmosphere is welcoming. The owner and the baristas are SO NICE! I want them to succeed. Don’t sleep on this place!"

"I love checking out new coffee shops in the neighborhood, and this one has been my favorite so far. I tried the Matcha Einspanner latte and the double matcha latte, and both were really good. The sweet cream foam on top was soft and not overly sweet, and the flavors came through nicely. For the matcha, they hand-whisk it right after you order, which makes a noticeable difference and it tasted smooth and well-balanced. You can tell they're using good quality ingredients. The space itself is very trendy and gives off a strong LA and Korean café vibe. There's also seating in the back, which is nice if you want to hang out for a bit. One fun touch is the little photo printer where you can take a picture and print it as a sticker!! Super CUTE Prices felt reasonable for the quality, and the staff were all very friendly. Definitely planning to come back and try more of their signature drinks."

"Coconut Matcha Cloud is decent! The matcha in the cold foam is pretty solid and the matcha flavor is apparent. The coconut water seemed to be like the C2O brand, so it had the coconut pulp... which I was not fond of. It would be better if it was at least the Costco Kirkland coconut water. I think I'll try the Double Matcha next time... the barista hands whisks every order! The inside of the cafe is cute and simple. It has a minimalistic aesthetic going on. There's 4 tiny tables in the back, so it's not super ideal for studying. The staff here are nice though!"

"Just found this amazing local cafe in San Jose!! The space is so cozy and chill, perfect for a little coffee break or getting some work done!! The matcha drinks are next level!! The matcha cream is rich and luxurious, and you can really taste the high-quality matcha powder – not that cheap stuff you get elsewhere. Matcha lovers, this is a must-try!! Also obsessed with the strawberry matcha latte!! It’s not artificial syrup at all – tastes like real strawberries blended in, perfectly balanced with the matcha. My friends loved it too and kept saying how good it was!! Everything here feels carefully made and premium, and the staff is super friendly!! Definitely coming back soon!!"

"I love when there's a new cafe that opens up! Swung by Block Coffee today and it was such a cute cafe! They have Christmas decoration for the holidays, but the overall atmosphere of the cafe was bright, cute, cozy~ Honestly, I haven't found a place where they serve yummy financier in the bay area, but I think I found my spot. The vanilla latte had perfect sweetness and caffeine level as well. Will definitely come back to try other drinks!"
