from Google"I sat on this review for a few weeks now but it is now time to let it free. My dad used to come here a while back and recommended it. I came here with my dad for brunch around 1130a on a weekday and we sat at the bar. Not many beer options but Elysium on tap. I must have got the bottom of the barrel because it was THICK. Bartender was nice enough to notice and gave it to me for free since I didn't finish it. Atmosphere was nice and lively and they had something decently entertaining playing on the TVs at the bar The food was fine, standard breakfast fare. I got linguica and over easy eggs. Fine, not mind blowing, about what I would expect. Hash browns were decent. Also they barely have any hot sauces. NOW THE BAD Our service started out great. The bartender got our drinks and food orders in quickly and that is the end of the good service. We were done with our food for at least 10 mins before I had to call the bartender over. Even then it took another 10 mins to get the check after I reminded him again. NOW THE EXTRA BAD I figured out why the bartender declined in service! I saw him take at least 3 shots of Jameson while we were there. It all makes sense! I also watched him prep our toast without washing his hands before hand, just straight from the bar to the toast station in the corner. During the toast making I caught him several times running his hands through his hair and touching his face. Not only did this happen to our plates, I noticed him doing the same for several other sets of toast! So no, I won't return."
"Our first time here. Felt like we were at Cheers because everyone knew each other and the staff knew all the locals. We were treated warmly by all the staff. So many items on the menu but we went with gyro salad and pita. The lemon chicken soup was delicious. Salad was really generous portion and my leftovers will make an entire lunch tomorrow. Bloody Mary had a nice Tito’s pour. We sat outside on this really warm day but the entire restaurant and bar have an open air feel with the slider door front. We will absolutely be back again."
"Have gone here for 25 years. Last few years less often, and today will be the last time. ***Service is excellent. **Prices are decent. *Food is meh- - - Salmon on the Nova Benedict was the grossest “smoked salmon” I’ve ever had. Overly old-fishy tasting, rubbery texture of undercooked fish. I LOVE smoked salmon. Sent it back. Replaced with a Florentine which was just ok. - -Hollandaise sauce there used to be delicious: buttery, lemony, creamy; perfect. Now tastes like margarine and is oddly a little spicy. Used to be my go-to place for a good Benedict. - -Hash browns were very lightly cooked- no crisp- but good taste. - - French toast was good (tho icky cheap “whipped cream” with colored sprinkles!?) bacon was good, switched eggs for country potatoes, which were good - - Coffee here has always been weak and meh; I asked once if they had an espresso machine and was told yes- no evidence of that in the mochas, which were weak and too sweet. Lively atmosphere and clearly the current clientele enjoy the food. Not us anymore tho."
"The food was out of flavors. It was my first time there and I won't go back for the food again. I will rank the food 4 or 5 out of 10. The beer🍺 was awesome. I forgot its name but it had added shot. Rank: 10 out of 10 to the drink. The owner was super nice, polite and friendly. These 3 stars mainly belong to her excellent customer service, however the employees were not welcoming at all. I prefer not mentioning our bad experience with the employees attitude in detail."
"Purely breakfast food wise it was pretty solid. Normal, nothing is amazing but it's breakfast food so it's find. Their chicken wings however was cold do that was pretty bad. Overall breakfast alone it is fairly priced and worth a visit if local."
