What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Pretty decent place. The portion sizes were pretty big, which I liked. The place was quite popular and there was a line to get inside. I got the huevos rancheros. The eggs were made well and the potatoes were nice. I also ordered a dish of eggs benedict which were good but could have used more seasoning. Overall this place wasn't bad and I would go again although it is a bit expensive."
"The omelette was good I had to swap out i believe was olives for something else. Just didn't think thats good on an omelette and also the cheese was a fancy ome I opted for cheddar. The crepe was decent. Potatoes were not too flavorful and kinda on the dry side."
"I wasn’t overly impressed with this place. I liked the idea of crepes and I saw a Kari crepe that looked really good. When it came out I was disappointed. I thought a kari crepe would have a kari sauce with chicken and onions and red bell peppers. The crepe that came out had a few pieces of curry seasoned chicken, green peppers, red onion and mushrooms, and mango chutney throughout. I thought maybe I had missed the mushrooms in the description, and had I read it had mushrooms, I wouldn’t have ordered it. When I checked the menu again though, I noticed the printed, laminated menu didn’t contain mushrooms, but the big menu on the wall lists mushrooms. Overall the kari crepe was lacking chicken and it had so much chutney I would consider it a sweet crepe. The fries it came with as a side weren’t salted that I could tell. We also got the half moon crepe that had peaches and cream in it. It was better than the kari, but still just sort of lackluster. It was like they made the crepe, opened a can of peaches and tossed them inside. The last item we ordered was the breakfast burrito, which was ok. Overall the food wasn’t super warm it was mediocre. I was hungry and I’m leaving full, but I won’t make it a point to come back."
"Whisper’s is a solid breakfast spot that has some flaws. Some items are definitely on the pricey side many of which don’t have a meat protein (They do offer quite a few coupons to reduce the price). Food can sometimes be inconsistent when it comes to seasoning but when it’s done correctly it’s very good and worth the price. Can’t skip the house potatoes as a side and California eggs benedict is the best entree I’ve had from there so far."
"Charming breakfast/lunch place off the beaten path in downtown San Jose. Great crepes, Belgian waffles, omelettes, and the like. A place I visit every time I'm in the area and am glad to go back to."
"My friend recommended this place to catch up, we came to eat brunch, and there wasn't many people coming in. There were menus to look at coming in, and you..."
