"I picked this coffee shop on a whim while road trippin’. I felt welcomed as a customer and enjoyed the atmosphere. (It reminded me of Portland- home) , but their service was lacking because they refused to make a substitute in their veggie burrito. So, instead of having that sub two eggs, I had the regular one with four eggs. Who needs to eat four eggs in one sitting? Not me. They subbed the sausage for avocado which was appreciated. Unfortunately, if you like flavor in your burritos, you maybe want to look somewhere else. The signature salsa was very bland and the ingredients in the burrito were poorly balanced for the price. I considered going back to stop at the diner next door and ask for some salsa verde, but I needed to continue my drive. $25 for a lackluster latte and a very bland breakfast burrito. Disappointed. Pro: cute bathroom. Hopefully it was just an off day! :/"

"My friends and I had brunch on Sunday before we headed back to LA. A long line of customers waiting to place their orders, but the line moved pretty quickly. One of us waited outside for a table to be vacant so that we could be seated when our orders arrived. After placing our orders and our coffee and mimosas in hands, a couple of tables (suited for four) became available. Shortly afterwards, our order’s came. As soon as I saw my order, I knew it would taste great, and I was right! The gravy with sausage) was heavenly, and it was perfect with the biscuit. I will definitely return to the establishment when I am back in the area. There is a large public parking spot within a minute’s walk near the train station."

"I'd give 0 stars, but I also blame myself for ordering the CROQUE MADAME (Sliced ham, melted Dubliner cheese, butternut squash béchamel, and mustard on Bread Bike country sourdough, capped with a sunny egg). Perhaps the CROQUE MADAME is good in other parts of the world. It ain't good here. I didn't see a picture of this item on their website. Maybe I missed it! The ham, folks!!! Ugh! The ham was just like the Farmer John Cooked Ham slices you'd put in sandwiches as a kid! I haven't had that kind of ham since I was 10 years old! And man they went in hard with the mustard. Nothing went together, and yes, it's also my fault for ordering it! I couldn't eat it, folks! I've come here at few times. The first time I liked it, but each time after I've been more and more unimpressed to the point that I'm now breaking up with this place. Maybe they should just stick to burritos and waffles (which I already know how to make - Thanks YouTube). Get really good at that first, and then venture into other dishes. I don't mean to be rude, but c'mon, SLO has a reputation for not having the best food (just look at the list of restaurants that have closed permanently in the past couple of years). Let's try to change that narrative."
