"I was in the area with a friend for an early morning run on a Sunday, and we visited this place for breakfast post run - 1. It was not very busy when we went, but got very busy by 10am 2. They have nice coffee ☕️ 3. We both ordered Veggie omelette, which came with pancakes 🥞. The food overall was good! 4. The restaurant has a dedicated parking spot for customers"

"I’ve only really come here for the pies as is what they’re famous for and it has never failed me! Albeit I haven’t tried all the flavors but my go Tos are the Dutch Apple, Fresh Peach (seasonal) and Fresh Strawberry (seasonal). Dutch Apple is a classic with buttery crumbs on the surface and nice contrast between the tartness of the apple and sweetness of the crumbs. Fresh peach and strawberry are to die for 🤤 and they’re only available for a few months of the year in summer. Definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone visiting the Bay Area and it’s great for locals too since it’s so close. They used to be open 24hr but COVID happened. Glad they recovered and glad the quality of the pies hasn’t changed!"

"6.5/10 Honestly I went in hoping the food was gonna be good. I ordered the new york steak and eggs. The steak was incredibly tough and had no flavor whatsoever. I ordered the steak medium rare but there was no color at all inside and was likely a low grade meat as well as cooked all the way through (pics). The eggs and hash browns are basic sides nothing worth noting. $30 for the meal and everything in the menu looked pretty overpriced I don't know how other reviews say the food is good here. The other people I went with thought the food was below average as well To be fair I didn't try any of the pies and I'm sure it's more what their known for not the food. I'll try a slice of pie next time but not the food Aurora who has been there 52 years was definitely the star of the place. Thank you Aurora Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend breakfast here and you're better off going to Denny's, being better food and a lot more cheap"
