"Fantastic Cafe on Gaffey Street is an inexpensive diner that happens to feature chili verde. The chili verde portion was large but was what I call "Gringo Chili" with little to no heat. It didn't taste of chili peppers but had a savory green sauce. I tried to get the correct chili verde flavors that I love but wasn't able to get the flavors right since their house hot sauce is a red sauce and the 2 available bottled sauces both had vinegar. The restaurant has counter pickups of food and has a drivethru window for car pickups. There isn't a lot of parking but they give large portions so local contractor trucks often visit. Wheel chair parking and entrance allow wheelchair public to enter and eat. The bathroom also could handle a wheelchair. Seating is usually 4 tops (some booths) with a single 2 top."

"This place stays open late till midnight, the reason we came here, I got here at 10pm and surprisingly it was crowded so it must be a locals spot. Food was really good, fast service and very reasonable prices. We stopped here a 2nd time on my weekend trip here for another late night bite."

"Drive thru is extremely slow these days. And they've been shorting me on chili fries, they don't put as much in the container anymore. Gotta love that shrinkflation."

"Great tasty food. Their menu has many good dishes to choose from the country breakfast is delicious& plentiful as well as the breakfast burrito. On this occasion I ordered the chicken sandwich. Grilled to perfection along with delicious fries. Came in a little after 10pm, still great service with a smile. I ordered the nacho plate for my wife & I(yes it feeds 2). The only suggestions would be to be able to order a smaller portion & the big plate to come with more chips!"
