What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Great place for work/study. Wifi for 2hrs with purchase. Outlets, super spacious, lots of tables. They have a great menu and friendly service as well. I got the spinach mushroom quiche with a side salad (also came with an unexpected bit of bread and butter) and the strawberry raspberry mango smoothie. Both were great! I also purchased this packaged cookie from near the cash register- bad! I don’t recommend. 2 bathrooms open (with keys) for customers. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Suggestion: it would be nice if prices could be put on the little pastries and packaged goods near the cashier. I can’t be the only one who factors price into considering which little treat to get!"
"I had lunch today at a place I’ve enjoyed many times before, but unfortunately, this visit was a real letdown. The beet and avocado salad, which is usually fantastic, fell flat — lacking the freshness and flavor I’ve come to expect. We also ordered the grilled mixed veggie sandwich, and to be honest, it was just okay. Maybe it was an off day, but I left feeling uncertain if I’ll be back agai"
"Had to repeat my order 5 times to the server, and even then the food came out incorrect. Did not whatsoever the basic of experience customer service overall… and in the end the food was subpar and had smaller amounts than in the past! I have usually ordered online, but the two times I went in to eat (last weekend case in point) the environment was badly lit and in parts loud with buzzing from refrigeration… not at all cozy. Changed seating 3 times to try for a better effect. When leaving I saw a cook eating and then blowing his nose next to the food he was preparing. For the amount you spend here? What is happening."
"I like this place generally but try to avoid it when a certain person is working the counter. Short guy, wears hat backwards, usually there. He is neither nice or welcoming (but seems friendly to women), but the worst part is he doesn't call you when your beverage is ready. So you have to keep checking back to see if he's put it out yet; then if one is waiting, you have to ask if it is yours. I really wish they'd get someone else to take orders. He seems like the wrong person for customer service. Put this guy as a cook or something. (When another guy was working once, I told him that he was way better than the guy I'm writing about here. He said, "yeah, I've been hearing that.")"
"Hostile team. Shocked and taken aback by this behavior - will no longer be returning to Aroma Cafe. I had mistakenly misinterpreted the street parking designations near Aroma Cafe, and immediately corrected the issue when it was brought to my attention by a passerby. What I cannot understand is why any business would think it acceptable to leave an aggressive and insulting message on a community member’s vehicle."
"There are quite a few cafe choices with many different vibes in the San Raphael area, but Aroma Cafe is one of my favorites! Their baristas not only make..."
