from Google"I love having Kuma in the neighborhood! They have a great variety of drinks, and everything I have tried has been delicious (and so cute-- they put a smile on my face on the sweltering hot days this summer). Before Kuma, I never really had fruit drinks at boba places but now I have done a total 180 on them. The fruit flavored popping and fresh juices are so refreshing! I'm also glad that they have poke bowls and other snacks. Bonus: Their market up the street is a great thing to have in town for getting more Japanese drinks and snacks. So glad to have them in Marin county!"
"Horrible don’t ever come here! The Boba tastes horrible it was full of Syrup, the lady forgot to add boba to my first drink and was refusing to make another one, she eventually made another one and it tasted terrible so I asked for a refund because it was $8.95 and she said she can’t give me a refund and refused to give me my money back. Then she began to say “ I don’t care you’re not the one that pays me” their machine also automatically adds a dollar tip to your order. Never come here the service is terrible and the drinks taste like cough syrup."
"Kuma cafe, the new boba tea 🧋 place on 4th street, San Rafael. I have tried the Thai tea with boba, the brown sugar milk tea, the lychee, dragon fruit tea, the hibiscus tea with aloe vera jelly and everything was great! Oh, and my favorite is mango and strawberry kakigori (Japanese shaved ice dessert). The ice is so light and goes well with mango and strawberry. They also have warm drinks if you don’t want to have cold stuff. And just last week, I stopped by and they started to have poke bowl. I got some for me and ma family and they tasted fresh and yummy! Kuma cafe is a great addition to downtown San Rafael."
"This place is incredible. All the drinks are made to perfection. The presentation of the drinks is also amazing, the perfect aesthetic drink. An incredible amount of variety, everything from shaved ice to coffee drinks. The staff is very nice and welcoming, making sure every customer is taken care of. They offer a good range of food as well, poke bowls, sweets, spam musubi (personal fav), and other small bites. They even heat up your small bites for you. Atmosphere is relaxing with small tables for two, relaxing music, and clean environment. Highly reccomend!"
"Hours not consistent. Expensive enough that I DO NOT appreciate wasting my time driving and parking in downtown only for them to be randomly closed. Had times where I ordered boba and got just a few tapioca balls in a large tea. Too many frustrating experiences. Trying oddcha today instead since this place is closed again during regular hours."
