What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This coffee shop is on the corner of Yanonali St. and Gray Ave. with very limited parking. Adjacent to Tamar Restaurant, they operate out of the same building and share seating space. During my 1st visit, it seemed unclear if Darts' customers could use the seating space, so I ordered takeout. I had their 'Hot Latte' with an 'Everything Bagel'. Both tasted amazing! The latte was smooth and creamy with a perfect balance of milk and espresso. It's such a great feeling when the right barista handles your drink! The bagel was perfectly toasted, yet so soft inside with the right seasoning. The menu lists one price for each specialty drink, so I was not able to get a larger latte. I was served a 12 oz drink. I almost passed on this experience because I couldn't find parking and the line was out the door. So I got out of my car while my husband drove around and I waited in line. Surprisingly, the line moved quickly. Service was friendly and welcoming. The Café is cute, with a soft feminine aesthetic. Clean and organized. Overall, I had a good experience here and enjoyed every sip."
"Dart Coffee Co. has really good coffee, and both locations offer totally different vibes. The harbor spot feels calm and coastal—perfect for a slow, relaxed sip—while the open-concept location is brighter and more energetic. Different atmospheres, same consistently great coffee, which makes it worth visiting both."
"In a town full of exquisite coffee shops, Dart sets a very high bar. Their espresso drinks are delectable. You can taste the freshness of their beans, and their efforts to hand make each beverage with care. Their pastries are solid, though nothing to write home about in my opinion. It is important to mention though, Dart is very popular. You might find yourself waiting upwards of 30 minutes for your caffeine supply. Might I suggest, get a boost of energy elsewhere before committing to the line."
"We got coffee here twice in our recent visit to Santa Barbara. The matcha sunrise was the most delicious drink ever. Our second visit they were actually closed and the owner gave us coffee anyway which was very good. I really appreciated how the company was involved in supporting the community and wasn’t afraid to take a stand against some of the things going on in this country right now."
"This specialty coffee shop (4 inspiring locations) is everything a local coffee shop should be—and then some. The coffee alone is reason to come back daily (which I do): shade-grown, organic beans from Peru, crafted with real care daily by the owner, paired perfectly with organic milk that actually lets the flavor shine. You can taste the integrity in every cup. And the food? Unreal. Thoughtfully curated local pastries that feel special, not generic—especially the empanadas from Buena Onda, which are so good they deserve their own fan club. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The baristas here aren’t just friendly—they’re highly skilled, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their craft. Every drink is made with intention, precision, and pride. You feel taken care of the moment you walk in. The owner deserves a special shoutout. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely listens, cares about the customer experience, and pours their heart into every detail. That care radiates through the entire team and the space itself. Speaking of the space—each location has its own distinct magic. The decor is stunning, warm, and inspiring, featuring local art created by the owners, which gives every shop a soulful, personal feel. It’s not just a place to grab coffee—it’s a place to be. This is community. This is craft. This is what happens when passion, quality, and heart come together. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out."
"10/10. Was a hater because of how trendy it was but that first sip of the oat milk vanilla iced latte with honey syrup was healing. Vibes were cool too."
