"As someone who strictly only eats gluten-free pastries, and desserts, it fills my heart with so much joy to be able to also love the taste !!! My recommendation is the cheese bread with cream cheese and a fried egg. It is absolutely delicious! As a breakfast sandwich option! I can also without a doubt say I would only eat this croissant for the rest of my life I don’t need gluten ever again !!! And the chocolate croissant is divine !! every Saturday. "my new favorite breakfast spot in santa monica! their bagels are incredible, especially the bacon egg & cheese. their vegan bacon is incredible! the cinnamon bun latte is delicious as well — not overly sweet, plus a great espresso flavor. the chocolate zucchini bread tasted even better after letting it chill in the fridge for a while. overall, a fantastic experience and i can’t wait to head back!"

"We would highly recommend Modern Bread and Bagel. We used their catering for our little one's birthday party. We had several dietary restrictions to accommodate. They were fantastic in their communication around allergens & different ingredients, and they were a big help in figuring out what would work best for our guests. Ordering and delivery were straight forward. The food was very tasty and beautifully packaged (much better than we could have done!). Special shout out to Erin who really took the extra steps to make sure our food needs were covered and all of our many questions were answered quickly and clearly! "Absolutely delicious and almost too good to be true. They do gluten free right here! Everything looks delicious and doesn’t even taste gluten free but I love that there is no need to worry about cross contamination especially if you are celiac. The bagels are so stuffed full and were beyond delicious. Highly highly recommend!!!"
