"Nice ambiance but food is pretty overpriced for the portion and taste. The shrimp congee was a highlight. The benedicts were regular. The crispy kale was a good idea but super greasy. We sat on the patio which was nice to hangout with friends on a good day."

"Don't waste your time, money, and patience on this place. Terrible. Everything. Food, service, table. Ok, for starters, our table was kind of sticky. Nbd stuff happens. But everything else just exacerbated this point. We finally got to order after we were seated for a long time and it took well over fourty minutes to get our food. This wouldn't be an issue but there were only three other tables seated. This again, wouldn't be the most unforgivable thing in the world but 1 of our dishes was warm and the other was actually just cold and the other two seems freshly made. But like cold potatoes. No one wants to eat that. I was so taken aback that I forgot to even take a pic of the dish but you can kind of see it in the corner of one of my pics. It seemed like our food was done much earlier and our server forgot to get the dishes and that they're terrible at making the food so it arrives all at the same time for a table. All of these blips might be ok but this restaurant charges to $25+ dollars to give you cold potatoes. But even the food that was prepared here was basal. The flavors were fairly flat and under seasoned. The portions are small for the quality and price. And honestly, I found the comparable to iHOP. That's not a compliment."

"This brunch spot is a delightful find, offering both style and substance. The food is a feast for the eyes, with beautifully designed dishes that look almost too good to eat. Fortunately, the flavors match the presentation—every bite is as satisfying as it is visually appealing. A standout feature is their kid-friendly menu, making it a great choice for families. It’s always a relief to find a place that caters to young diners without compromising on quality or creativity. The seating options are versatile, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available. Whether you prefer a cozy corner indoors or a breezy patio experience, this spot has you covered. One of the best parts? It’s not overly crowded. You can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere without feeling rushed or cramped, even during typical brunch hours. With its combination of delicious food, thoughtful design, and a welcoming ambiance, this place is a must-visit for brunch lovers. Whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or bringing the kids along, it’s a spot that caters to everyone."

"Ideally I'd give this place a 3.5/5. Darla Cafe is a charming spot nestled in downtown Saratoga. We went for brunch on a weekend and found the place moderately busy with a lively atmosphere. I ordered the Thai tea, which was delicious and refreshing. I also tried the salmon Benedict, which was decent but not outstanding. The bread was a bit tough and chewy, and the Hollandaise sauce lacked the smooth, creamy consistency I was expecting. My friend ordered the crispy stuffed French toast and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was fast and attentive, which was a plus. Overall, Darla Cafe is a decent brunch spot to try if you are in the area."

"If the restaurant did not offer discount and complementary waffle, I’d rated as 1 star. Super slow food and not delicious at all. The house Benedict “fusion” with a crispy kale and it took half the space of the plate. And the stem of it is not chewable at all, don’t get the point of this dish. The loco moco was also weird and took waaaaay tooo long to come, that’s also why they offered the discount and free waffle. The loco moco also doesn’t look like the other one we use to have and had a huge portion of rice. To really find some positive things: bacon in my Benedict tasktes food and the place is clean."
