"Not sure why this place has 4.6 star rating. Food is overpriced, overcooked, dry, oily, and probably rancid. Paid over $60 for two dinner plates. The only thing that tasted decent were the French fries. The meat was either overcooked or recooked more than once, meat was salty, dry, and crunchy, not moist or tender. The pita bread was oily and hard, never had oily pita hard bread before and their hummus tasted sour not like lemon but either old or rancid rather than creamy and savory, like garlic or lemon. Definitely will not be coming back!"

"Absolutely delicious. We've been looking for Greek food like this in Pasadena and just can't find it. The chicken and beef Souvlaki skewers were grilled perfectly. The salads were fresh and nicely dressed. The roasted potatoes were so tender you can cut them with just your fork. Too bad we missed happy hour because the 50% off already low priced wine! Our server was great - super friendly and very attentive. The restaurant itself is bright and nicely decorated. We stopped here on our way back home and now wish we lived closer than 45min away! Edit: We made a point of coming back here on a recent drive home. It was only 10min out of the way and we were happy to come back. The souvlaki and gyro plates are very tasty and very large. The potatoes are a must have as a side. Also the servers here are super nice."

"It's been many years since I was last here. I think it was a different Greek restaurant back then. (I later found out that it is the same family, and the son took over, and made it into more of a sit down restaurant) We walked in and was greeted with the desserts in the cabinet. That's dangerous! We sat and ordered. I had the Gyros wrap lunch combo. My wife ordered the gyros plate. We also got the Calamari appetizer. That was amazing! It was very fresh. My Gyros wrap was large, stuffed full, and very tasty. My wife's plate was equally large. She asked for rice and was mistakenly given fries. She mentioned it, and immediately got a plate of rice with no discission. That's how a correction should be done. So the service was great, the food was great and we definitely enjoyed our meal. Definitely a place to try in Simi!"

"The story of this facility is a family-owned Greek restaurant proudly serving for over 30 years. Their journey began in 1991 in Goleta, CA., Santa Barbara County, where the family opened the original Greek House Tavern. A decade later, in 2001, they brought their culinary heritage to the Simi Valley community. This restaurant is at the heart of the Kokkinos family's legacy. A woman, collaborating with her former partner Nick Georgopoulos, created something special—a place where authentic Greek flavors and warm hospitality blend seamlessly. Their recipes, inspired by their hometowns of Tarsina, Corinth, and Patra in the Peloponnese region, continue to define the menu today. From comforting classics like oven-roasted lemon potatoes, beef and lamb souvlaki, to flavorful chargrilled chicken souvlaki and the signature gyro served on handmade pita with house-made and strained Greek yogurt tzatziki, each dish is crafted with fresh ingredients, authentic techniques, and the same love that began in the Kokkinos family's kitchen decades ago. Quality has always been at the heart of their work, and the chefs continue to honor these time-honored traditions with every dish served. They are committed to serving healthy and natural traditional homemade Greek food. They use free-range chickens raised with No Antibiotics, grass-fed beef, and 100% Pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil. They opt for healthier alternatives, such as Beef Tallow for all frying needs and only use Pure Sea Salt to enhance the flavors of all dishes. They serve great portions of food for the meals. We had a light breakfast, and it was worth it. If you arrive here hungry, you will not be disappointed. My wife had the Chicken Gyro plate. A delicious blend of seasoned chicken, with a side of moist rice and a Greek House salad, grilled pita, and 2oz. of tzatziki sauce. I ordered a chicken souvlaki lunch plate. It has marinated/grilled chicken souvlaki(10oz.), French fries, and a Greek house salad with hot pita bread and a side of tzatziki sauce. We will be returning customers."

"Absolutely love Greek House Cafe! It’s family-owned, they don’t use seed oils, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. I also really appreciate their great vegan options. You can truly tell how much care goes into both the food and the overall experience. So happy to support a local, health-conscious spot like this!"
