What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I visited Café Dolce in Solvang in July 2025 with my daughter, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The café has a warm, welcoming ambience with cozy seating, charming décor, and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. Every morning, I enjoyed their fresh coffee, delicious bagels, perfectly cooked eggs, and sweet, juicy fruit. The homemade baklavas were exceptional—crispy, rich, and clearly made with love. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food. I loved it so much that I went there every morning during my entire two-week stay. The service was meticulous, and the owner, Sam, was incredibly generous and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always provided fast service. I’m already planning to return this Christmas break for another two weeks, and I honestly can’t wait to be back in that delightful atmosphere. Highly recommend Café Dolce to anyone visiting Solvang! Update :) I came back again for Christmas. I returned for the amazing coffee, the calm and cozy atmosphere, and the friendly, welcoming staff. The ambience is relaxing and inviting in the winter season, making it a perfect spot to sit and enjoy your time. The food is delicious — the baklava and waffles are outstanding, and everything feels thoughtfully made. Their great coffee(tried the dirty chai too) is the perfect finishing touch. Café Dolce is truly a gem in Solvang, and I’ll definitely keep coming back."
"What's not to say about this lovely little hidden gem in Solvang. I had breakfast and cappuccino in the morning and returned that night for traditional Turkish coffee and kunafeh. A Lebanese family business that makes all of the pastries. I'll go here every morning and evening when I'm in Solvang. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance. Coffee, Lebanese baklavah, Turkish coffee and am extensive food menu for a Cafe. You will not be disappointed."
"We stopped by during our visit to Solvang. It's a nice place, but the prices are way too high. I understand it's a tourist spot, but even by that standard, it's overpriced. My wife bought a small piece of baklava, smaller than a chicken nugget, for $5. That was the most expensive baklava we've ever bought. So, be sure to ask the price first and consider avoiding this place if you can."
"Absolutely phenomenal Turkish coffee!! I meant to ask what bean they used but forgot! The owner is was completely understanding to our kids allergies and made sure they had something to munch on as well! Had a great time there and the vegan baklava was the perfect pairing to the coffee. Definitely stopping here every time we pass through the area! Thank you!!!"
"Pros: Great ice cream for kids (McConnell’s), accepts Apple Pay. Cons: Chaotic layout, rude service, and unsafe serving practices. I ordered an affogato and they poured hot espresso directly into a thin plastic cold drink cup. It tasted like melted plastic and chemicals, didn’t finish it. When I offered to pay for a paper coffee cup to fix it, the staff was confrontational, made excuses they were low in stock, and argued with me. They also charged steeply for the coffee, punching in the $7 Americano versus the $5 Drip. Overall, hits the spot for a kid's treat, but I would avoid ordering coffee or espresso here until they figure out their inventory and safety standards."
