What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Cute, small café that is takeout only but has a lovely small seating area outside. We just got ice cream - a cup and an ice cream sandwich - but it was pretty decent. Service was fine. Prices are about what I'd expect for a tourist area. There's a very large selection here that includes some less common items like turkish delight."
"This is our favorite pastry spot in Solvang, and whenever we’re in town, we always make a stop here. We usually get Turkish coffee, baklava, and Danish pastries, everything is consistently delicious. This time, we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Esko. He’s incredibly generous, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Solvang!"
"It is kinda a small bakery, there are outdoor seatings but line is quite long. I got a lemon pistachio berry pie (forget full name), it has some mojito alcohol taste, which gives it a hint of butter. I really like it, not too sweet~ kinda pricy but good! also got two buckets of cookies (~ $20 each) to bring back for friends to share."
"Looking for a good bakery because you are in Solvang, right? This is NOT where you want to go. Pastries are not good but exorbitantly priced. They are just reselling supermarket and Costco food. Most packaged items are from Costco with Eskos label stuck on them. Others are simply "Packaged by Eskos" if you read the fine print. The ice cream is from Thrifty! Buy a full tub at a grocery store instead of the 8 dollar single scoop here. The queue is deceptively small, don't be fooled. There's a double queue inside on busy days. Most tourists want to enjoy a bakery item in Solvang and this one is the only one that's open late. Be warned."
"Extra star for being a bakery that is open later than most in the area. We visited the day after Christmas Day. It was very busy with the line out the door. When we finally got inside, the line was wrapped around again. We had 2 savory pastries( ground beef, spinach and cheese) and 2 danishes. After waiting 40 mins in line it was a bit disappointing to see one of the workers let several people behind us order ahead, no explanation. Not good customer service. But the food was good and fresh. We ended up paying almost $50 for 4 pastries and 2 hot cocoas. With the long line, line cutting and the high price i would give 3.5 stars if i could. Outdoor seating is available."
"We found our way into here because I originally wanted to try a cannoli, but ended up picking a crossiant with creme instead. My husband tried the Turkish..."
