What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Quick and consistent quality treats and takeaway meals like sandwiches, bowls, pizza (slices and pies) and toasts. Their baked goods like the croissant and donuts are above average, but definitely used to be better. My favorite are a cortado and their jambon beurre. I’ve been coming here since they opened ~5 years ago. Their coffee drinks used to be much higher quality with a typical multi-group espresso machine and a skilled barista. Nowadays they have unfortunately regressed to a fully automatic machine with a noticeable quality difference. Though they are using Napa local Naysayer coffee beans which is a nice touch. Staff is friendly and always helpful."
"4 Stars - A Gas Station with Gourmet Dreams Okay, so Station St. Helena is a gas station, but don’t let that fool you—it’s also a sandwich shop with aspirations of grandeur. Yes, you’re filling up your car, but you could also be filling up your stomach with a sandwich that’ll make you question if you’re actually in a Michelin-star restaurant. It’s a little on the pricey side for what you’re getting, but hey, it’s a gourmet gas station, so who am I to complain? I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting much beyond fuel and maybe a stale bag of chips. Instead, I was hit with a perfectly crafted sandwich that was almost too beautiful to eat (but I did anyway). The flavors were bold, the ingredients fresh—clearly, they’ve mastered the art of fancy sammies. Would I return? Absolutely, but maybe just for a snack, not a full-blown lunch. It’s a treat… for your taste buds and your wallet!"
"Don't let the gas pumps put front fool you. Great food. We had pizza slices and chopped salad. They also have sandwiches and quiche. Counter service but nice patio seating."
"The coffee was very yummy. The place across the street’s coffee machine was broken, so lucked out. Coffee scrumptious."
"Really stale baguettes for sandwiches. Nothing on ham and cheese sandwich but meat and cheese-no mayo, no mustard or other toppings. Honestly, a gas station sandwich. Should have known better. Server didn’t know if they served wine? After paying for bottle of water ($4), had to go back and collect it…NIce patio for our dog, but there are much much better places to eat…"
