from Google & Yelp"I stopped by Backyard Cafe, because it looked like a cozy little spot for coffee and a bite to eat. I was a little confused when I arrived, since it was part of a boutique hotel. It was also really packed. The food and drink were a mixed bag. The gingerbread latte and berry cronut? Quite good. The $16 egg sandwich? Extremely mediocre. Overall, I’m a bit disappointed by the experience. Even if some of the food and my drink was pretty good, all of that was $37 BEFORE tip. I just can’t justify that price. Especially for a cafe at a hotel."
"⭐ Honest Review I was drawn to this property for the café, restaurant, and its very unique lobby design. We started our visit with breakfast at the café, where I ordered a hazelnut latte and the breakfast sandwich. The coffee was excellent — smooth and flavorful — but the sandwich was pretty standard and didn’t stand out much. I’d like to return and try the waffle next time. The ambience was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. This is a great spot for a light breakfast, coffee, or a casual meet-up, but not necessarily for a full, hearty meal. Parking is convenient with spaces on both sides of the property and plenty of Tesla charging stations available. The lobby itself is beautiful and worth exploring. We enjoyed walking around the outdoor seating areas and the pool — the layout and aesthetic make this place a truly unique destination."
"We tried the pork belly with glass noodles as well as a tuna poke salad. Both were super good, especially dressing for the like salad and the tenderness of the pork bellies. Decor was also cute with nice servers as well"
"Cute cafe adjoining hotel. Food was good, though took a bit long to arrive. The burrito sauce was great. Prices were ok. I did balk at $13 for fresh squeezed OJ Good place to chill and read, good mix of eating tables, studying tables, and couches/seats."
"Food is decent. I had pumpkin spice latte which was good but would not be my top choice in the area. The almond croissant was tasty but soggy from the middle. The vibe is really nice though, it’s in a hotel so you have to take the valet for parking which is not the most convenient and adds on to the visit. Also the latte art sucked, usually I don’t care too much about it but from a proper cafe i expected more."
"Food is delicious, staff is so friendly. Love how you can customize the hot food items and that they are made in the kitchen to order. The cafe de olla..."
