"First time eating here. I would definitely come back to this place again. Everything we had was absolutely amazing. The fries were extra crispy, with great flavor not soggy. The nuggets for kids were very good, very crunchy. I had the Baja burger, it had a small bite to it from the chili's but otherwise delicious. The staff was great, courteous, & friendly."

"We enjoyed a great dinner at the restaurant. Our experience was pristine the entire time, with a unique vibe that always impresses us. For the appetizer, we had loaded potato hush puppies with a Tapatio crema. She paired these with a white peach sangria. I chose the Chicken Teriyaki bowl with vegetables and rice, while she ordered the Mediterranean chicken bowl from the new $15 Fireside favorites menu, featuring grilled lemon chicken, yellow rice, and Mediterranean sides. Her meal included a s’more brownie sundae. Our waiter, Daniel, was informative and friendly, always checking on our experience. Lazy Dog offers TV dinners with standout options: BBQ meatloaf with sides, four-cheese baked pasta, roasted turkey breast with gravy and stuffing, cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, fried chicken with gravy and spinach, lemon chicken with yellow rice, and chicken pot pie. Each meal comes with a unique dessert. We have been here many times and will keep returning."

"I always love stopping by Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar here in Thousand Oaks when I’m in the area. We had a Trunk or Treat event for the kids nearby, so we figured why not stop in? I ordered from the Build Your Own Lunch menu, which offers smaller, discounted portions of some of their regular items. With this special, you get to pick one entrée, one side, and either a salad or soup. The list of options is fairly short, but I ended up ordering the Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich with no tomato. It was decent not the best chicken salad I’ve ever had, but it was okay. For my side, I chose the apple cider vinegar coleslaw. I had a bit of an issue with that it was very bland and lacked flavor. The Build Your Own Lunch also includes a soup or salad, so I went with the Caesar salad since I love Caesar salad. The servers here are pretty attentive and check in often to see if you need anything, which I really appreciate. I don’t like having to sit and hope a server comes by again, like at some other places. The ambiance of the restaurant feels like a cozy cabin meets sports bar. The menu has a wide variety of options, so I have no doubt that anyone who visits will find something they like. I’d definitely recommend Lazy Dog to anyone looking for good American comfort food served in a warm, rustic setting. And just like the name suggests, Lazy Dog welcomes dogs, but only on the outdoor patio. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to return. I love this place."

"We randomly came across Lazy Dog Restaurant driving through Thousand Oaks on our way to Big Bear on the 4th of July weekend. We wanted to get some real food and a beer. We parked in the parking lot across the street which had a fair amount of available parking. We were able to get a seat right away. Service was quick and friendly. The menus are cool (leather wrapped). Tons of good food options. Good size meal. Pricing is very fair for the portion and quality. We wanted to try a new beer and tried the Huckleberry Haze IPA and it was amazing. We ever got a 4 pack to go (yes they even sell it canned)! This beer was SO good that we HAD to stop back while driving home from Joshua Tree for lunch and of course, more of the Huckleberry beer. They also have a lunch special, a half sandwich, and a salad and other side like fries for around $12."

"I had the fettuccine Alfredo with braised beef, and wow—absolutely incredible! This dish is actually a secret off-menu item, and I can confidently say it’s a 9.7/10. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the creamy sauce was rich and flavorful, and the braised beef just melted in my mouth. The portion was generous, the flavors were balanced, and it felt like a true chef’s special. If you want something beyond the regular menu, I highly recommend asking for this dish—you won’t be disappointed! Hands down one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back for this again."

"Tried 4 samples this time and the server recommended Milk and Cookies and Cookie dough. I would say Cookie dough was tasty but strong so I can only imagine..."
