"nice lil nook! went to their soft opening & got the Mais Con Ube w/ a matcha base instead of espresso- 10/10 recommended it like this. love how it’s rooted in faith & is filipino-owned/inspired (reminds me of home!). wishing there was a lil more seating inside to do work or have coffee dates with friends, but maybe that’s to come. Worth checking out!"

"So exciting to have this coffee shop in the area. The South Bay has so many great coffee options, but Torrance, and particularly this part of it, seems to be a coffee desert. Tamistea is such a fantastic shop! The lattes are delicious, not too sweet, and reasonably priced. As a big fan of Ube, it's wonderful to see various Ube menu options. Owned by a Filipina, it's also nice that this shop isn't just riding the recent Ube trend. The cookies are going to be dangerous. They are huge, homemade, and so decadent. The staff and owner are kind and you can tell they really care about their products and want to make their customers happy. I will absolutely be a regular here."
