I have been dreaming about the pistachio pastry I had on my first stop here two weeks ago so I needed to stop again before flying home. The lattes are delicious. The service has been great. "Very cute coffee shop, the cutest in Truckee area. Pastries were the best we had (and we tried all nearby cafes throughout the years). Espresso was nice and strong, very flavorful and smooth. If you like strong coffee I recommend quad shot drinks, my ice melted and coffee was still very flavorful hours later!"

"Café Lupine is a fantastic new coffee/breakfast hidden gem that just opened up in Truckee. Tucked just behind Fifty-Fifty Brewing and right on the edge of the Ponderosa Golf Club, this cozy café has all the makings of a new local favorite. Our group of 4 stopped in around 7pm to check out their wine, beer, and cheese offerings. Peter (The owner) made us feel so welcomed, and with four beers on tap, a solid selection of bottled wines, and a few ciders, there was something for everyone. The cheese board was a highlight! Multiple delicious varieties which paired perfectly with the beautiful golf course views. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next morning for breakfast. The pastries were fresh and flavorful, and the breakfast burrito was a delicious way to start the day! If you're in the area around breakfast time or want an under the radar wine/cheese night look so further! Café Lupine is well worth a visit."

"Good environment and good vibes. But the coffee is kind of disappointing. Ordered a 8 oz cappuccino and a 12 oz latte. The beans tasted very burned. Didn't seem like a speciality type of coffee shop. To respond to the owner: everyone has a different taste palate but a burned coffee is burned coffeeby 1) latte drinker and the 2) cap drinker 👍 I can understand if there is a one off situation something is off."

"This is a little gem in the mountains! The food and coffee were delicious and the people working here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere on a Sunday morning is relaxing."
