"This place used to have potential, but now it just feels heavy. The coffee is mid at best, kind of tastes like anxiety, to be honest. Staff always look like they’re walking on eggshells, and the vibe is straight-up tense. Saw the boss get visibly mad at an employee over something small. It was uncomfortable to witness. Not really the kind of energy I want to sip a latte in. The only good thing was that i was able to pet a dog since it’s at the farmers market. Also overpriced as hell!!"

"The owner of Airborne is really nice and very passionate about his coffee. If you like dark roasted coffee and brew drip style or pour over then you may like this coffee. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I cannot recommend this coffee for any espresso based coffee drinkers who prefer to taste the subtle flavors of their coffee. I found that even their medium roast is oily and over roasted to a dark roast and you don't get subtle flavors. The coffee roasting isn't the same at all as what you get from some of the other local roasters."

Depending on how you like your coffee .If you are Starbucks-type of coffee drinker who like darker roast, & always add cream+sugar. Airborne is definitely an upgrade from Starbucks. However, if you're into specialty coffee and appreciate the finesse of lighter roast, airborne really isn't for you. Tried their beans at Hayward farmer market the other day, the lightest roast they got is medium, but even that, I think it's over roasted and taste like dark, completely inedible without cream + sugar"
