"Editing 1/13/26 I've been here 3 times now and I must recommend they do something about the waitress Charlie (brown tall woman). I have never seen someone in service treat customers the way she does. The second time I went there, I was with a friend who uses a wheelchair and I went to go see what seating was like on the patio and she snapped at me "You wait for us to seat you!!" Other staff look mortified. The third time, I saw her berate a full table of customers who were getting impatient bc the kitchen was slow that morning. She literally put her hands in their faces. I thought the first time was just a bad day but this seems to be a pattern. I likely won't go back which is unfortunate because the food is good. ------- Came here on a Friday morning for a late breakfast. We sat outside and got to watch the planes come and go. Even though it’s been hot, it was quite comfortable underneath their outdoor fans. I got the spicy sausage breakfast with tots & sourdough toast. Pretty good, 8/10. Friend got the chicken fried steak with hash browns w/ biscuit + gravy. He loved it. 2 meals, 2 drinks, $40. Only bummer, the tater tots tasted a little freezer burn."

"Best airport diner in socal. Food is on par with expectations from diner. Service is consistently good. Atmosphere - all of the patio is prime seating and a good portion of the inside as well due to direct views of airstrip. It's great to see planes land and take off while enjoying some good eats. Weekend mornings can get really busy. Typically, no wait at lunch."
