from Google"Wren's has some of the best biscuits n gravy I've ever had but pretty small portions of everything. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is a cozy, little worn diner. Smells good and welcoming when you enter. $27 for 1 biscuit w/gravy, 2 eggs , 2 bacon strips and a soda. Little pricey for not much"
"Service was good waitress was friendly. The Burgers were big and tasted good.. On a scale from 1 to 10...they were a 7.."
"Wren’s Cafe in Vacaville, CA, is family owned small spot serving up breakfast and lunch daily. Current hours are 6am-1:30pm. The food is simple, classic ole fashion American breakfast and lunch items (burgers, sandwiches, soup, and salads). The place looks just as it did when it opened in 1986. Been a customer since then. It is located right off Alamo exit off Interstate 80. The food is basic. Not fancy schmazy, nor innovative. The interior has seen better days. Clean but worn. The seating is booth seating and a few counter seats. The folks are hardworking, genuinely friendly, and real. Tip: the restroom (which is a single user) is in the back right corner. The door opens directly into the dining room. So you may want to avoid sitting next to it."
"We stumbled upon this hidden gem years and years ago on the way to an overnight trip to the Bay Area. Since then, we take every opportunity we can get to eat here. The food is top notch and the staff is wonderful. We live over an hour away from Wren’s Cafe, but it is definitely worth coming here for a bite to eat. Their blueberry pancakes are delicious, as are their sweet potato fries. The portions are plentiful and the food is flavorful. They will even make extra strong coffee for you if you ask for it that way! There’s a super sweet Native American young woman that works there and she always goes out of her way to make sure we’re taken care of and have what we need. There’s also a really nice lady (I heard some regulars call her Cheryl today, so now I know her name!) that helps keep you happy and lets you substitute one item for another (for a small up charge sometimes). Most tables and booths seat four people, but there is a corner booth that can seat a few more, and there is counter seating available as well. You won’t be disappointed coming here. It’s usually steadily busy-that’s how you know it’s amazing! 10/10 I highly recommend Wren’s Cafe!"
