What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Right off the bat this place is one of the more aesthetically pleasing places I’ve ever been to. They have local artists posted up on the walls with their artwork for sale which I have always appreciated. The line out the door was a good sign that this place was not only a popular spot but surely they were also delicious. I ordered a cappuccino, and a matcha tea, the cappuccino was good and so was the matcha, but honestly nothing to write home about, i definitely do believe that the coffee is the staple (as it should be) I absolutely recommend. Now onto the food. I ordered a breakfast burrito which not only was filing but also flavorful, nicely seasoned and lightly toasted, a little on the weirder side being served in a bowl, but that’s such a small detail hardly matters. I would certainly recommend this. And then there’s the “power bowl” for $16 you get about a half cup of semi cooked grainy rice, 2 poached eggs, some pickled onions, half an avocado, and some lettuce. With a few vertically cut snap peas (which was an interesting way to cut a snap pea). For the quality of this particular dish I do believe it was not worth the $16. Overall I don’t believe I would recommend the food here, as aesthetically pleasing as it is, the quality for the price doesn’t match. The total wait time was about 30 minutes for the food which I don’t hold against any of the staff at all, as a matter of fact I do believe that they did their best to make this an enjoyable experience overall to which they did a great job, i would come back here but only for the coffee next time."
"Good beans. Decent roast. Good machine. But the barista needs more training. Came back too bitter. Overall this is probably the place to be for a good independent specialty brew in Visalia. They do have almond milk."
"A great coffee experience, nestled in the old town of Visalia. I personally found the espresso, a great mix of citrus, fruity, and smoky that appeal to me greatly. This was further found to also greatly influence the cappuccino’s and lattes we tried, especially the salted caramel flavoring is a good mix that is not overly sweet. Furthermore, I can strongly recommend the breakfast burrito that was made with quality eggs and wrapped with love and One could clearly see it wasn’t just thrown together from premade scraps. Overall, a quality café that I can recommend anyone to go to for dates, brunch or just a good study spot!"
"It was my first time at Component Coffee. What a great experience. The three young men behind the counter were exceedingly kind and efficient. Excellent coffee. Tasty cookie. Relaxing atmosphere. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!"
"A great stop in the morning for a quick coffee and some great pastries. The staff is very friendly and helpful with my selection. Whoever made the pastries did a superb job. The coffee was brewed on point. Go by yourself or with some good peeps. This Coffee Shop will not disappoint."
"Friendly service, great coffee. Will definitely go back whenever we are in town. It was a little hard to find based on the address, but worth the effort"
