"I stopped by Caffè La Scala in Walnut Creek and had a really pleasant experience. We ordered coffee and asked a few questions about their menu—at one point we were almost tempted to order pizza for breakfast because it looked so good, but decided to save that for another visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering feedback and answering our questions without any rush. I ordered a caramel macchiato and really enjoyed it—smooth, balanced, and exactly what I needed to start the day. The atmosphere in the morning was quiet and calm, making it easy to sit and have a conversation. It does get more crowded as the day goes on, but it never felt overwhelming or too loud during our time there. Overall, a cozy spot with helpful staff, good coffee, and a welcoming vibe. I’d definitely come back, maybe next time for that breakfast pizza I skipped!"

I’ve noticed that sometimes tables are occupied for several hours by people who only order hot water, while other customers who come to purchase food or drinks are unable to find seating to work or have meetings. This can feel a bit uncomfortable for regular customers, as it limits seating availability and affects the business as well. I share this with respect and in the hope that it may be considered."

"This is my favorite Cafe in Walnut Creek. The Atmosphere and quality of coffee & food is top noch. This spot is a true Italian style Trattoria open early and late nights. It is always busy with folks working, reading, meeting with friends. It is just an all around everything spot."
