from Google & Yelp"Love this cute cafe in West Hollywood! I was looking for somewhere new to relax at while doing some remote work during the week, and saw this as an option on Google Maps. I thought it looked cute, so I stopped by - I'm so glad I did!! Hidden in the back of a strip mall/parking lot area, it's not the most noticeable from the street. Once inside, however, you enter into a cute little world with lots of female pop artist decor throughout and their music/music videos playing inside. I loved the fact that the music is played in a way where it doesn't feel like a club, but it's still a fun vibe if you're wanting to enjoy the songs and music videos while there. And of course, I love the messages of inclusivity within the cafe...and the fact that the default milk is oat milk, which is my go-to milk for coffee drinks!!! At a lot of places, I have to pay extra in order to get it. What a pleasant surprise that it's the default option for once! The staff inside is all very friendly and had my lavender latte ready in no time! Oh yeah - and they have plenty of outlets for charging devices inside!! Most cafes and coffee shops, at least in LA, either don't have them or have covered them up so you can no longer use them these days. Fan Girl Cafe is super cute, unique, and fun. The drinks are also solid, and the space is great for stopping by either to hangout or get some work done. I highly recommend!"
"Super fun vibe (girl pop music over the decades, LOVE!) and yummy food with tasty coffee as well. If you like friendly staff, feeling like you’re a character in a music video and chilling with a cool collection of fan girls, this is the place to be."
"i went to this cafe in august for their special lady gaga mayhem themed week and it was sooo much fun! i got a delicious red velvet latte with a chicken wrap and it was great! the cafe is completely decorated with a fun pop culture theme. there’s a little merchandise table, a good amount of seating, and huge tvs with music playing. i’m so happy i went it was a great experience!"
"Fan Girl Cafe has become my new fav coffee shop! Def the best coffee in West Hollywood. You’ve gotta try the Lady Carmalade. Side note, all the drinks are adorably named after song titles. To accent, they have artist photos decorating the entire cafe. Making the atmosphere super artistic, playful, and fun space to hang and do work. Plus, they have WiFi and plenty of seating to cozy up and get some work done away from home. You’ve definitely gotta stop by, grab a drink, and say hi. The owners are super nice. And other people who hang out are very friendly creating the perfect sociable environment."
"I moved to this neighborhood (SMB/Crescent Heights) in Weho a few months ago and discovered Fan Girl Cafe. It could be easy to miss, especially if you're driving, as it's set back from SMB in the parking lot between the Russian deli and Ocean Sushi (which is also 5 stars). So now you have no excuse for missing it! It's been a long (long) time since I've come across a "coffee shop" that is truly original and unique in its concept and design. FGC (can I call you that?) aims high and nails the landing. OK, why the 😍? The approach through the small, drab parking lot gives no hint what awaits you. Open the door and you are pulled inside by all of your senses. The dominant interior color is pink — with each wall and the ceiling in every shade, from blush to magenta and everything in between! 🩷🫦💓💕💜❤️ This is anchored by black chairs, banquettes, frames and a classic bnw checked cafe floor. The lighting is a bit of a miracle as it's a crazy mix of daylight, ceiling tracks, pin spots, tasteful neon art, a bare Edison bulb and, because this is Weho, a disco ball... But instead of chaos the overall effect is a warm, welcoming, pleasant space. Brava💡 Then, there's the aural experience. True to their name, these Fan Girls (biz- & life-partners Betsy & Cynthia) are fans of girls who make music! A single flat screen tv plays videos of the songs. And much like the lighting, the music is the perfect volume to set the tone without overpowering conversation. The walls display framed original art: photography, paintings and digital art (all for sale) paying tribute to women rock, r&b, folk and pop stars. And we're not done... One of the two restrooms pays homage to Betsy's fave Gwen Stefani. The other is a nod to a gaggle of girl Grammy winners. Don't be shy about visiting both - they're awesome. Oh yeah, the coffee? They start with Intelligentsia Coffee and then add something magic. I've had Americanos, filter and latte with almond milk (which is now my standard order). Today I succumbed to the chocolatty chocolate croissant I've ever seen 😋. So now I will have to venture further into FGC's menu of brunch and sandwiches and salads. Bottom line: the owners and staff put their hearts, souls and considerable sweat into making Fan Girl Cafe a joyful, delicious space. It is always busy but never too crowded to find a spot to sit and sip and enjoy a bit of respite from the world. Next time you want to try something new in the coffee space, walk or drive (there's free parking!) over and prepare to be WOWed!"
"Okay, this place is crazy, but in a good way. I've never seen or been to a restaurant like Fan Girl Café. Bright pink walls with tons of pictures and music..."
