What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I love finding places that I know I’ll be coming back to over and over. I knew this place was going to be it from the moment I walked in. The service here is amazing. The girls at the counter were so sweet and welcoming. They offered their favorites and made suggestions for food. They were attentive and efficient. The atmosphere is beautiful ; the aesthetics are 10/10 and you can tell every detail was considered. The space is not very large but they utilized it so so well. Along the wall there is cushioned bench style seating accompanied by small tables that can also be moved together. In the corner they have a couple arm chairs if you’re coming to catch up with friends or read a book. The coffee was good and they have a selection of specialty drinks to choose from or the good ole classic black coffee. Food menu is also quite extensive with many options to choose from. Most visitors ordered the toast while I was there and it looked delicious. I opted for a sweet dish and got syrniki , which is an Eastern Slavic dish best described as small farmers cheese pancakes. They were the perfect texture (it can be a bit tricky to get right sometimes) , the plate presentation was gorgeous and overall taste was very much calling for seconds asap ( I refrained but it was hard to do). Overall , love love loveeeee!! Will definitely be back. Spasibo! :)"
"The space is such a vibe, it reminds me of Europe. You can enjoy great food and actually connect with people here. The owner runs the place with so much passion—you feel it in the food and the service. I had the syrniki with a glass of bubbles and it was such a fun experience! The Greek salad is absolutely must too 🔥"
"From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and recommended a new menu option, which turned out to be incredibly delicious. There is a wide variety of food to suit every taste and preference. You can truly feel the owners’ love for this place in every detail from the high-quality tableware to the thoughtfully designed interior. This place is perfect for breakfast with family or on your own, for reading a book with a great cup of coffee topped with perfectly frothed milk, or for brunch, where you can be sure to enjoy delicious, high-quality food. Thank you for such a warm visit, we will definitely be coming back."
"I love this café, truly. It’s Russian-owned and has a great modern feel, with warm wood, cozy seating, and a calm, stylish decor that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. There are plenty of power outlets and the air conditioning actually works, which already puts it ahead of the game. The food is delicious and high quality, including some excellent Russian-inspired breakfast options. The coffee is great, and they also have a solid tea selection. My only real criticism is the water situation. You’re often given a glass with a very small cup, and getting a refill means having to ask since the tap is tucked away. If you’re sitting there working, you’re going to get thirsty, and coffee alone doesn’t really quench that. Aside from that, I highly recommend this place. I’m genuinely glad to see it thriving and hope it continues to do really well."
"We recently visited PeopleTalk for the first time, and my impressions are mixed. On the one hand, the service was excellent. The girl at the counter was so warm, kind, and genuinely attentive that it would leave no one indifferent. I ordered a bowl, my friend had an omelet, and for dessert, we decided to try the syrniki (cheese pancakes). As you can see from the photo, they were served completely burnt. When I asked the server if this was the usual way they were prepared, she was very polite, took them back without hesitation, apologized, and brought us a replacement. Honestly, it wasn’t a huge deal for us — we probably would have eaten them anyway — but I wanted to clarify whether this was their standard presentation. The second batch of syrniki looked fine on the outside, but when we cut into them, they were raw in the middle, as shown in the video. In terms of taste, they were okay, but of course, we couldn’t finish them. We tried a few bites and left the rest. Overall, the food was ordinary, very classic. For an American-style breakfast, it was acceptable, but in my opinion, the prices are quite high considering the quality and execution of the dishes. Another important downside for me personally was the smell inside the café. Since the kitchen is open, all the air is filled with cooking fumes and oil, and after visiting, it’s nearly impossible to get the smell out of your clothes and hair. The café itself has a lot of seating, making it a good place to spend the morning working on a laptop. Many people around us were doing exactly that. Another nice touch was that we were allowed to choose any table we liked right from the start. Would I return? Most likely not. Still, I would confidently give this place three stars. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere truly makes up for many of the food-related shortcomings. If I just wanted a cozy place to chat and enjoy the company of kind servers, I might stop by again. But if I were looking for well-prepared, flavorful food, I would probably choose a different spot."
