"Upscale cocktail bar with a quirky vibe. Puzzles and games at the bar! The owner was there and obviously loves what he does. Well stocked bar (they had Sotol!!) with a great happy hour and a menu bursting with creativity."

"we came to Bar Max because we saw a video that they were donating profits to help a bar in MN that was closing in protest of the brutality happening and so we had to pop in to give our money to buisness who matter. we were in a rush for a dinner reservation and marshall was so kind and although it was quick the drinks were amazing! all of the staff was so friendly. the vibe in there is also on point. as a queer person i love to walk in to a place with a pride flag hung proudly because i know im safe there. we can’t wait to come back soon for more drinks and to play the games they have throughout the place! thank you guys!"

"Prices are outside my budget for this to be a go-to spot, but it is fantastic for a once-in-a-while treat. The few drinks I tried were delicious and had a heavy pour, so it was always nice to feel like they weren't skimping. They do their best to support local and small businesses, which I appreciate seeing on the menu. The server was on top of it and had great timing when checking on us. I didn't get the chance to try a custom drink, but I'm excited to go that route next time. The place was pretty busy when we went, great atmosphere"

The atmosphere is elegant and charming, they light candles in the evening and have board games around for you to play. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some conversation and laughs. Marshall and Sydney gave incredible service and made sure we were well taken care of. You won’t regret stopping by for a drink!"
